We love this dog. We adopted him when he was about 4 and is now about 9. We would not be getting rid of him but our baby is allergic. He is not a very hyper dog, but he is a velcro dog. He is not great at walking because he has never quite kicked his herding instinct, but he does love to walk. He can sit, stay, lay, and shake. It would be wonderful if he could be adopted with our other dog, Brigsby Bear. Although he is ok with other dogs, he really is not that social with canines. He loves people and with his silky ears and coat he loves to be pet for hours. A great dog for cuddling up.

Mac is a young two-year old male black with white furnishings male dog. He is 50% Cattle Dog and 50% German Shepherd - per Embark DNA. He is excellent on leash but has NO recall off leash - he is high energy, with a fabulous personality. Dislikes cats but is bonded to Flea who is a two-year old pure bred Chihuahua(you will have Mac and Flea, not Mac and Cheese). Flea worships the ground that Mac walks on but he also does not allow himself to be pushed around. He lives to sit on someone's lap and be cuddled when he is not following Mac. These two boys were strays and their owner has never been found. It is time for these two gorgeous boys to go to a home where they are loved and appreciated for their temperaments, intelligence and great looks. Mac weighs about 60 pounds and Flea weighs 4 pounds.

Meet Rocky! Rocky is the last Park Fire dog in our shelter. We were never able to locate his family after the fire, and unfortunately he tested positive for heartworms. Rocky will be undergoing treatment for the heartworms over the next few months, and will need to be kept quiet during that time. That means strict crate rest for this happy boy! We will send his foster with enrichment toys to keep his brain busy while being crated.
