Story
Quincy is a spayed female Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Australian Kelpie mix. She is approximately 7 ½ years old and weighs 43 pounds. Quincy is a happy, friendly girl who loves all people of all ages, enjoys getting treats, and relishes receiving pets and love. She walks well on a leash, and loves to go for walks, runs and adventures! While she's great with some dogs, she may need a meet and greet with potential dog siblings, as she can be a bit picky. Quincy isn't fond of cats, so we recommend her to go to a home where there are no kitties. Quincy would thrive in a loving home where she can be the center of attention and join in adventures. If you could use an adventure buddy, apply to meet this perfectly fun sized girl today! Excited to find your new family member at Wags and Whiskers? Story
Adopt Hadley: Your Loyal & Active Companion Awaits! Meet Hadley, a handsome and intelligent 6-month-old German Shepherd and Queensland Heeler mix weighing in at a sturdy 39 lbs. This charming boy is looking for a special home where he can thrive, and he's currently available for adoption at the Butte Humane Society in Chico, CA. Hadley is a bright and energetic pup who inherited the best qualities of both his breeds: the loyalty and focus of a German Shepherd, and the agility and intelligence of a Queensland Heeler. He's past the tiny puppy stage but still has plenty of puppy charm! Given his breed mix and energetic nature, Hadley needs a specific environment to truly shine. Hadley's Ideal Home: No Young Children: Hadley will do best in a home without young children. He's a sensitive boy who needs a calm and predictable environment to feel safe and secure. Active Lifestyle: He needs a family committed to providing a consistent and robust exercise routine. Daily walks, runs, hikes, or active playtime are essential for his physical and mental well-being. Dedicated to Socialization & Training: As a smart and capable mix, Hadley will thrive with continued socialization and consistent, positive reinforcement training. He needs a guardian who understands the importance of consistency in building good habits and a strong bond. Someone with experience with herding breeds or energetic dogs would be a plus! Why Hadley is the Perfect Partner: With the right guidance and commitment, Hadley will grow into an incredibly devoted and well-mannered companion. He's eager to learn and will form a deep bond with his new family. Imagine having a loyal partner for all your adventures, from morning jogs to evening snuggles on the couch. Ready to Meet Hadley? If you're an active individual or family without young children, and you're prepared to invest time and consistency in exercise, socialization, and training, Hadley might just be your perfect match! Come meet this wonderful boy at the Butte Humane Society in Chico, CA. Our team will be happy to discuss his needs further and guide you through the adoption process. Hadley is ready to dedicate his loyalty and love to his forever home. Could that be with you?
