He shows traits of Australian Cattledog/Australian Shepherd, and at about 26 lbs now, he has some growing and filling out to do. He’s doing wonderfully with his leash manners and clearly has the potential to be a quick learner. Limerick has plenty of playful energy, but when he’s done, he’ll happily settle into the nearest lap for a cuddle.If you’re looking for that perfect small-to-medium dog to add to your family, Limerick may be your guy. Asher is an almost 5 month old beautiful sweet puppy. We pulled Asher out of the shelter with pnuemonia and is healthy and ready to be nuetered, We are accepting applications now. Asher is the sweetest puppy, he loves to snuggle and be close to his humans. Asher is great with other dogs and plays nicely with his foster siblings. Asher does well with dog savvy cats but may chase running cats. Asher is crate trained, uses a doggy door and is almost accident free. Asher is good on leash and knows sit. Linus is a very sweet, sensitive dog. He is curious, active, listens and pays attention well. His main need is socialization and activity, specifically some combination of moving his body and using his senses. It's not enough for him to just go on walks. He does not do well with being alone all day while people are at work. His ideal life would be with someone who works outdoors or someone who is home most of the day and who has time to get him outside. He is frightened of small children and will nip them if they get in his face. He has never been aggressive with dogs and is very curious to meet them. He is the same with people - he loves attention from people - but if you have visitors, he will bring them something to throw for him and if they do, he will keep at it longer than is sane. He does not chase cats on walks but will growl at them from the living room window and will chase them out of the front yard if he finds them there.
