Hi, Im Ladybug My name is Ladybug, and Im on my journey to finding my forever home. Ive been through a lot, but Im finally healing and learning what it feels like to be safe and loved. When I was rescued, it was clear my body had been through serious trauma, and its believed I may have been hit by a car. I needed medical care and time to recover, and thanks to the people who stepped in for me, Ive come such a long way. My foster has been taking such good care of me, helping clean my wounds and making sure Im comfortable every single day. Because of that love and patience, Im getting stronger and feeling more like myself again. Im a really sweet, gentle girl. I get along with other dogs, big or small, and I absolutely love kids. I listen well and just want to make my people happy. I enjoy being close, getting affection, and feeling safe. Every day, Im learning to trust, to relax, and to enjoy life a little more. Remember Little Foxy Roxy? She is one of Leo & Leah's puppies. She was adopted last June and became Zoey... and now, through no fault of her own, she's back with us. Her adopter fell on hard times and returned her while keeping her sister-so understandably, she's confused and scared right now. She spent about 10 months in a very secluded environment, so the world feels big and new to her. But she's young and already learning-taking everything one step at a time, including walking on a leash. We placed her back with the foster who raised her during her first few months-and thankfully, she remembered her. She's relearning that the world isn't so scary. Zoey was the most outgoing of her litter, so we know that happy, confident girl is still in there-but after having her life turned upside down, she just needed a familiar face. Zoey is a sweet girl who is a little shy with strangers at first, but give her a little time (and a few treats-she's very food motivated), and her goofy, loving personality will shine. She's good with other dogs and cats-honestly, she doesn't pay much attention to them. If you have a high-energy dog, she may be a little nervous at first, but we believe she'll adjust.
