Story
Meet Rumba – Loyal, Smart, and Full of Potential Rumba is a classic cattle dog through and through—sharp, loyal, and deeply devoted to her people once she knows and trusts them. She may take some time to warm up to strangers, but for those lucky enough to be in her circle, she’s affectionate and loving in her own unique way. Rumba is great on leash and loves structured walks where she can use her mind and body. She’s just beginning to learn how to meet other dogs and will benefit from slow, positive introductions. She has shown some signs of resource guarding her space, so she’ll thrive in a home that understands canine body language and is respectful of her boundaries. Because of her herding breed instincts and sensitivity, Rumba is looking for an experienced, adult-only home—ideally one familiar with the cattle dog personality. She’ll do best with a patient adopter who can provide structure, consistency, and the time she needs to settle in and bond. If you know and love the smarts and spirit of a cattle dog, Rumba might just be your perfect match. Ready to meet Rumba? She’s waiting for her person—maybe it’s you.

Story
She’s a gentle soul we pulled from heartbreaking conditions during an eviction in Desert Hot Springs. Over 40 cats and two dogs were left behind in squalor after the tenants were removed. The stench, filth, and neglect were overwhelming - and no one was coming to help. But we did. Sienna was trapped in that chaos - scared, hungry, and defeated. She hesitated at first, too shut down to trust. But with patience and a soft leash, she followed us out. Sienna was placed in a loving foster home within hours. She was bathed, comforted, and given the first real affection she's had in who knows how long. She's cat-friendly, incredibly sweet, and ready for a fresh start.
