He would love a job as he aims to please.

The staff here at JHACC has been helping me come out of my shell, but its a slow process. I was found with 2 other dogs and have done well meeting other dogs I don't know. But I am still learning how to be social. Murphy is a sweet 9-year-old mixed breed whom we adopted as a rescue puppy. She's been a wonderful companion and brings a lot of joy to our home. Now that we're retired, we're spending more time traveling, exploring the US by van. Unfortunately, Murphy isn't comfortable with van travel, so we're looking for a loving home where she'll receive plenty of affection, long walks, and outdoor adventures. Murphy adores being around people and children, and once she gets to know you, she's loyal and loving. She thrives in a peaceful setting and would be happiest as the only dog in the household, soaking up undivided attention and lots of cuddles. She prefers female companionship and can be hesitant with unknown men. She's healthy, weighs about 40 pounds, walks well on a leash, crate-trained, and is housebroken. Murphy would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys nature walks and hikes. We are committed to finding Murphy a family who will provide the loving home she deserves.
