I am looking for a new forever home that can give me all the time and attention I deserve! I am a sensitive girl that wants to explore, but I need someone to hold my paw through it. I am learning lots of new things at CARE, like how to be brave when meeting new people, and how to walk on a leash. Even though I am shy at first, but for those willing to open their heart to me I am a big cuddle bug. If you would like to continue my training and smother me with love, fill out an adoption survey today!

Blue is a smart energetic dog and he also knows how to relax by the fire. He hasn’t had exposure to kids and is sensitive to loud noises. He takes a bit to warm up to new people but if he likes you, he loves you. He will do best with routine and not a lot strangers on a farm or ranch with other dogs where he can be active. He would love a job as he aims to please.

Story
Hi there, My name is Dottie. I am a young female Blue Heeler/Border Collie mix. I was found out in the wild, a long way from any homes! I am VERY shy and anxious at the moment. The staff here at JHACC has been helping me come out of my shell, but its a slow process. I was found with 2 other dogs and have done well meeting other dogs I don't know. But I am still learning how to be social. I need to go to a very special home with someone who is going to be very patient with me and help me learn how to trust. *Please speak with staff for me details about Dottie!*

Story
Murphy is a sweet 9-year-old mixed breed whom we adopted as a rescue puppy. She's been a wonderful companion and brings a lot of joy to our home. Now that we're retired, we're spending more time traveling, exploring the US by van. Unfortunately, Murphy isn't comfortable with van travel, so we're looking for a loving home where she'll receive plenty of affection, long walks, and outdoor adventures. Murphy adores being around people and children, and once she gets to know you, she's loyal and loving. She thrives in a peaceful setting and would be happiest as the only dog in the household, soaking up undivided attention and lots of cuddles. She prefers female companionship and can be hesitant with unknown men. She's healthy, weighs about 40 pounds, walks well on a leash, crate-trained, and is housebroken. Murphy would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys nature walks and hikes. We are committed to finding Murphy a family who will provide the loving home she deserves.
