Please contact Jodi Rosenberg (jodi.rosenberg@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.handsome gent seeking love! HARVEY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Harvey        Best Guess for Breed:  Lab and border collie mix Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of April 2025         SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight: 37 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Harvey is Looking For:  His forever family! He's got all that awesome young-dog energy and is eager to have his own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and exploring the world - he hasn't seen nearly enough of it. He'd love to make pup pals along the way, too. Quality kibble, cushy dog beds, peanut butter-filled Kongs - yes, please. But you know what he wants most of all? To know where he belongs, to know he's safe and loved for all his days. What do you say? Is this intriguing pup (doesn't his face just give Phantom of the Opera vibes?) the one you see by your side?   What Shelter Staff Say About Harvey: Harvey spent some time on the Dogs Playing For Life Canine Center campus in Florida. There, he received basic training and enrichment, and socialized with other dogs. Harvey worked on the Sit and Place commands there. He also worked on loose leash walking and sitting at open doors, waiting to be released to go out. He also got to play with enrichment toys such as food-filled Kongs and food puzzles. He loved participating in doggie playgroup - he's very dog social. He enjoys playing chase and wrestling - he likes playing with dogs who have a similar playstyle. What My Foster Says About Me:  We will update this once he has spent more time with his foster. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
