He’s a nice boy who is currently very scared in the shelter environment and will need a patient, understanding home where he can decompress and begin to feel safe. Like many Heelers, Shane is a smart and active young dog who will do best with guidance, routine, and a family willing to give him the time he needs to build confidence. Because he can be nervous, he is recommended for a home with children over 12 only. Shane is also heartworm positive, but that doesn’t change how deserving he is of a loving forever home. With kindness, patience, and stability, Shane has the potential to blossom into a loyal, loving companion for the right family. 🐶

Kardi girl is very loving and loyal dog. She was born April 19, 2019 in Missouri. We adopted her from Five Acres Animal shelter in St. Charles, MO when she was 3 months old, she has been with us the whole time. She is potty trained, knows how to sit, lay down, turn around, shake, and play dead. Her favorite spot to be is on any pillow she can find. She LOVES to watch TV, I think she could spend hours doing that. Kardi is a high energy dog and I do believe she has some anxiety. Kardi does need to be with someone who does not have other dogs or children.
