Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Levi!Levi is an 1 1/2 year old neutered male Cattle Dog! Currently 28 lbs most likely will be closer to 40 lbs when fully grown. Levi is a very nervous boy. It takes a while for him to build up trust with a person. For the first 3 weeks I was unable to touch him but now he’s able to take cookies from my hand, allow me to pet him, and hang out on the couch with him! Now that’s he’s coming out of his shell he’s finally becoming a naughty baby puppy! I’ve been loving watching him steal shoes, throw toys in the air, and try to sneak snacks. Levi will do much better in a home with another dog. He likes to build relationships with other dogs which makes it easier for him to open up to people! He gets along with every dog he’s ever met! He’s your typical pushy baby Cattle Dog. He likes to push everyone’s buttons but is receptive to corrections from dogs and verbal redirecting from people! Once out of his shell he’s the sweetest boy. He likes to chase toys, play in the water, and wrestle with his friends! Levi had an injury to his rear left leg which has since healed but his hair is still growing back! Levi is searching for an active family who likes to go on walks, hike, and play in the yard! He does have a fence requirement as he has proven himself to be a fence jumper when scared. He will need to be supervised in the yard. He is looking for a patient family who will help him blossom. Levi was brought in with his litter from a backyard breeder in Western OH and is now being fostered in Plymouth, IN. Please contact cripecasey@gmail.com  if you have any questions about Levi.  You can complete an application to adopt Levi or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org  .    ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application. Toast is a year and 1 1/2 year old male, Red Australian Cattle dog, who is amazing with respectful children 5 and up and great with other animals including cats. He wants nothing more than to cuddle on the couch in your lap. Though no fault of his own, he has had a couple of bumps in his life journey, which has given him some anxiety which causes a lot of drooling and some car sickness which has gotten better the more places we go. He is house broken and crate trained, he does use our doggy door. He is working on putting on some weight after his last shelter stay.  Toast is being fostered in Walkerton, IN Please contact hannahvazquez2002@gmail.com  if you have any questions about Toast.  You can complete an application to adopt Toast or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org .     ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Introducing Chloe   Chloe is a 2 1/2 year old, beautiful double masked Cattle Dog is a dream to look at. Her confirmation is short and stocky. If you’re looking for a beautiful girl. Here she is.   Chloe does great in a crate and walks on a leash and sits nicely. But like most Cattle Dogs they have energy. We exercise her with lots of ball. She is a great ball retriever.   Chloe comes from Southern, IN. Where she was found and picked up as a stray. Chloe gets along with other dogs but very selective, like most Cattle Dogs. They can be snobbish with who they make friends with. She tends to get along with dogs who don’t try to dominate her or tell her what to do! ( like most women)!   She is not good with small animals or dogs. Her prey instinct takes over.  C hloe is a cuddle bug and by your side kind of girl. She loves her people and will love all the attention from people.     Chloe is fostered in Plymouth, IN If you have questions about Chloe, please email   cripecasey@gmail.com  .  For additional information on Border Collies and our adoption process, please visit our website at www.comebyebcrescue.com.    ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application.*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 6, 2024, 3:17 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact stephodellbc@hotmail.com for more information about this pet.   Meet Kooka, He is a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler male, approximately 3 months old, being fostered in Plymouth, Indiana.   This boy is all Cattle Dog with the spiciness to prove it!! He is searching for a home that will fill his life with adventure!! Here are some things about him so far!! He is excellent in the car and travels daily. He is now jumping up in a car on his own. Crate training is going very well. He sleeps quietly through the night. Eats all meals in his crate. We are working on recalls and sit, and he is a quick study! He loves food and toys so training will be easy.  He has tons of drive and wants to be in the middle of whatever is happening. He has quickly attached himself to me and wants to be wherever I am. When I am playing group fetch with the dogs, he is in the thick of it!!   He has been fine with dogs and cats so far. He enjoys playing with his sister and my Border Collies. He really enjoys pretending to herd dogs on the other side of the fence.  Moving things (including me) with his mouth is something he naturally offers. We are working on him NOT trying to move me.  He does play at daycare every day and does well with all the different breeds, sizes, and personality types Because he travels to and from work with me, he is on a leash daily. He does very well leash walking.   He is a high energy little pup with tons of drive. He is pretty vocal when he is pretending to herd the other dogs. I think he'd make a nice performance prospect. He is definitely going to need an active home and preferably a human with ACD experience.   Please contact stephodellbc@hotmail.com if you have any questions about Kooka.  You can complete an application to adopt Kooka or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org .     ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rosie Miss red head is petite and dainty and at four months old her ears have taken in most of the growth. She is 17lbs. But is quickly gaining some weight.  She has your typical cattle dog chase mentality of play with other dogs and she is learning from the older dogs how to politely play.  Rosie is also learning how to be crate trained and doing well.  She is standoffish at first but then warms up to you and wants you to cuddle her.  Rosie is being fostered in Plymouth,  If you have questions about Rosie, please email   cripecasey@gmail.com  .  For additional information on our adoption process, please visit our website at www.comebyebcrescue.com.    ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application.***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 6, 2024, 3:17 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Introducing Leroy!  Sport friends! Are you looking for your next dog sport partner? Look no further!   Leroy is a ROCKET and would excel at anything! This 1 year old petite guy is the perfect size at only 33# and 16” at the shoulder. He loves to fetch, will fly through the air after frisbees, knows a lot of fun tricks, has been started on agility obstacles and is so eager to work. He has been to dog shows, fairs and festivals, stayed in hotels and is okay in that environment. He’s a LOT of fun.  Typical of Cattle Dogs, Leroy is very dog selective and might need to be the only dog in the home. Proper introductions to new dogs are required. He does better with submissive, non-reactive dogs as his high energy can give off the wrong vibes to others. He did previously live with a dog savvy cat who would frequently play and interact with Leroy! We ask that he go to a herding dog experienced home that understands the quirks of this breed and is willing to work on building structure and a routine for him to thrive under.   Leroy is a busy boy. He requires a lot of physical and mental stimulation, as well as some crate times to decompress. He will bring you any toy or ball he can find to play fetch with, all day long. In the evenings he will settle on the couch and cuddle (if properly exercised for the day). He walks great on a leash and is his foster mom’s morning walk buddy.Leroy is being fostered in Argos, IN  Are you willing to give this boy a chance? Please reach out to his foster mom with any other questions at kayladarriaga@gmail.com For additional information on Border Collies and our adoption process, please visit our website at  www.comebyebcrescue.com .   ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them.***    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 6, 2024, 3:17 pm
