Riley is a 35 pound very good boy. He is a medium energy dog and likes to play with toys and other dogs. He plays hard but then scampers off to take a nap. Riley isn't overly snuggly, but he does occasionally enjoy time sitting on laps when he naps. He enjoys walks, does well on a leash, and handles baths and car rides well. Riley knows basic commands like sit, wait, down, and sing where he will give out a little howl. He is potty and crate trained, although he prefers to sleep outside his crate. This smart boy also knows how to use a dog door! However, although he currently has 24 hour access to the outside, he prefers to be inside with his people. Riley has a past history of climbing fences, but he hasn't done this at his fosters' house. He can't wait to find his furever home! My name means "survivor - strong little warrior - I have had several misadventures and pulled through like a champion. Once I got into my foster home, it took some time for me to become comfortable with them and trust that they would take good care of me. I am a calm, quiet lady who is respectful of cats and dogs. My foster sister husky is teaching me to play and that puts the biggest smile on my face. I love going for walks and look forward to having the neighbor kids come talk to me and pet me. Hanging out with my foster mom, getting rubs and scratches, makes me happy. I go potty outside like a pro. My perfect furever home would have at least one other furry buddy who will help give me reassurance when my humans aren't home.
