Story
WEIRD LITTLE DUDE THAT GIVES THE BEST SNUGGLES. Just one of the quotes from his foster mom. Had a hard start in life after being born in a van with 9 other heelers--he needed a little help with his manners. He has successfully graduated from a board and train program with a trainer that is a cattle dog mom herself so knows what they need to thrive and be their best. 3 more training sessions are included with his adoption fee so that his furever family can be off to a great start. LOOK AT HIS TEEFS. Oh. My. Goodness. COUNT VON COUNT. You are a silly silly boi. 6 months old. Heeler mix. 51 pounds. Neutered. He has a personality as big as his ears---which as you can see are pretty big. He does gravitate towards men. There are so many things he is good at, let's start there. >CRATE TRAINED >LEASH WALKING >POTTY TRAINED >SNUGGLING >CORN COBBING HIS FOSTER DADS BEARD >PLAYING WITH HIS DOGGIE FOSTER SISTER AND HIS 10 YEAR OLD HUMAN FOSTER BROTHER Now, let's face it, not everyone is perfect, so a few things he's still working on being good at (and this list is much shorter than the things he's good at) >NOT PROTECTING HIS TOYS AND FOOD >NOT STEALING UNATTENDED BREAKFAST SANDWICHES AND SOCKS >KNOWING WHEN IT MIGHT NOT BE TIME FOR HIS EXUBERANT PLAY STYLE >KNOWING HIS DOESN'T NEED TO HERD EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE Count's perfect adopter would be a family willing to work with him and give him grace to keep learning. They would be an experienced confident dog owner. Other dogs and older kids would be considered. Even better if you have knowledge of heelers. They will be rewarded with an adventure buddy who also loves to snuggle. And if you have a beard to nibble WHOA he would be so happy. Contact us for more info. In local foster, meet can be arranged with approved app www.sunnypawsrescue.org

Story
SPECIAL GUY LOOKING FOR A SPECIAL HOME. BRISTOLS ADOPTION DID NOT GO AS PLANNED AND HE IS LOOKING FOR A QUIET, LOVING HOME TO HELP HIM BLOSSOM. Bristol is a dapper 7 month old mixed breed pup 25 lb pup looking for the right home to support his transition to manhood. Heeler/Chi mix. He is cute, cuddly, knows sit, is great on a leash, potty trained. Bristol is looking for a home that will support him to work on his confidence and give solid, consistent training for better manners to reduce puppy mouthiness and comfort with his crate. He does well with other dogs--as a matter of fact, being in a home with another confident, well trained dog would be great for him. He does have separation anxiety and can be a bit noisy if he feels scared or alone. He is attending a regular day training program and is a great student!!!!
