Story
Meet Ollie! He’s an 8 month old Cattle Dog/Aussie mix needing a new home. Ollie is a handsome, loving, goofball, and will bring joy and laughs to his new family. He is high energy and does best with a medium to large dog companion, although he will also do well on his own with an owner who can devote enough attention and exercise to him. Ollie needs a large fenced in backyard or some land to run. If you have a job or sport for him, he is up for the task! He is extremely intelligent and can open gates/doors, knows several tricks and commands, and is eager to learn. Ollie’s litter was dumped at 8 weeks old. We took in Ollie and have had him the last 6 months. He does well with other animals as mentioned above, especially medium and large dogs. He does ok with small dogs and cats if they do well with other animals. Our cat does not like him (although Ollie does well with her) and she is becoming overly stressed. Please reach out if interested! He will make a great companion!

Help us find a home for Artie! Artie is a 2-year-old (almost 3) neutered male Heeler with a big heart and lots of potential! He’s crate-trained, knows several commands, and is food-motivated, making training fun and rewarding. About Artie: -Not food aggressive -Curious (but respectful) with cats -Gets along well with other dogs Behavioral notes: Artie can be reactive and is fearful of most men, so he needs a patient, experienced owner who understands these challenges and can continue helping him gain confidence. Best suited for someone familiar with Heeler traits – energetic, intelligent, and happiest with structure and purpose. Artie has already made amazing progress in foster care and will thrive in the right home.

Story
Meet Christy! She has a pretty crazy story. We got some information that a dog had been seen INSIDE White Water over the course of a few weeks. She eventually had to be trapped by the City of Branson ACO. When she got to the shelter, she was scared... But so affectionate and sweet. She is also doing a great job on a leash. She is still unsure about being in a kennel, but when she comes out into the yard she is a whole new girl! We suggest she go to a home with a fenced yard, as she still gets a little spooked and she will likely need to be leashed or contained in a fenced yard until she feels 100% comfortable in her new surroundings. Christy weighs 41 pounds and is around a year old. Go down to Taney County Animal Control and ask for her by name!

He sits for a treat, is well behaved and affectionate and does a great job on a leash. He is friendly with other dogs and good with kids. He is adventurous and confident and is up for just about anything! Speckle is medium sized and at almost 8 months old is not going to get much bigger. He is fully vetted and ready for his people to find him. Speckle is also available for our dog's day out program, so if you have completed your volunteer paperwork, you can take him out for a day of fun! Reach out to us for more details!

Story
Ruby was adopted at 4mo old to be a companion for my older dog; she was born December of 2019, making her 6 years old this upcoming December. Shes very lovey and cuddly and is a true velcro dog. She knows sit, lay, roll over, down/up, kennel, bed (she is treat and attention driven). She is stubborn and talks quite a bit at times; I can make out 'I love you; I know; where were you.' Weve held conversations lol. As she has gotten older, shes become more dominant in attitude toward the other dogs I have. Shes not been in a fight with any of my other dogs in about 5 months; however, she will start growling at the other girls and resource guard me (I correct her so she stops). To avoid any fights occurring in the future, I have come to the difficult decision to rehome her. She would do best in a home where she is the only dog and has plenty of yard to run off energy per her breed. If left to her own, she would wander off, harness preferable. Does tend to jump, so no small kids. 7657482997
