Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi there! I’m Kit, a 5-year-old Husky-Shepherd mix with a zest for life and a brain that just won’t quit. Think of me as the canine version of a multitasking CEO: I’m friendly, loyal, and way too smart to sit around doing nothing. Seriously, I need a job. Herding? Guarding? Personal trainer? You name it, I’m your dog. A little about my past: I was adopted as a puppy, but my first family had a “lifestyle change.” (No hard feelings, humans, but what’s the deal with that?) Anyway, I’m back on the job market and ready to bring my A-game to a forever home. I’m not really into the whole “small kids running wild” scene—it’s nothing personal, but let’s just say I like my space respected. I’m super friendly, though! Whether it’s other dogs or humans who know how to give a good belly rub, I’m all in. My loyalty? Unmatched. My intelligence? Let’s just say I could probably figure out how to set up a Zoom meeting if I had opposable thumbs. So, if you’re looking for a dog who’s not just a pet but a full-on partner in crime, let’s talk. Bonus points if you have something productive for me to do, because I’m not about that couch-potato life. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Momma Bessie was rescued with her 4 puppies. Bessie is young and was the best mother. All 5 are all now safe with Pawfect match and in foster homes learning the ropes to get them ready for life in their forever homes. Bessie will never have to know the life of living outside in the elements instead she will live a cozy life in a home with a dog bed and treats and never have to go hungry again.  In just a short time Bessie has shown her appreciation to her foster Mom with lots of kisses.  She will sit for a treat and takes them from your hand very gently. Bessie thinks belly rubs are the best. We are still learning more about this sweet girl and will update her bio accordingly.      *Pupdate* Wow this dog is amazing! Bessie has done great with both dogs in her foster home. (1 small and 1 large dog) Bessie is BFFs with the senior kitty too. Bessie and the foster dog Skye love to zoom around the back yard playing.  They have even been found cuddling in the same crate together. Bessie loves attention, head pets, belly rubs, any and all toys, naps on the couch or a dog bed or even just a blanket on the floor. Bessie is good and respectful of the 9 month old baby in the foster home and loves the fosters teenage son.  She is great in the car just hangs out for the ride.  Bessie is quiet, great in a crate, knows to only go potty outside and will let you know by going to the back door and if you ignore her she will come nudge you.  She would be an amazing addition to almost any home.  She just needs someone to give her a change.        Bessie had a spa day today and the groomer said she did great for her bath, blow dry and brush!     ** The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.  All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.  Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
