Story
Jab is a fun, lovable dog with a big heart and an energy that makes every day more enjoyable. He is fantastic with people; gentle, patient, and always excited to be part of their games and adventures. He loves being included in family life, whether that’s playing outside, tagging along for errands, or just relaxing at home. Jab is affectionate, loyal, and eager to please, and he bonds deeply with the people who care for him. The only area where he can be a little iffy is around cats. He’s not necessarily aggressive, just overly curious and unsure of how to interact with them. With people, he’s nothing but sweet and full of love.

Story
Bandit is a super sweet boy who loves people after he gets to know them. He is very very submissive and would do well in a home with no other dogs , or dogs that are submissive as well. He CAN NOT be in a home with small children due to the fact he loves to herd. Bandit would be very happy in a place where he could have a job to focus that energy. September 16, 2025, 4:42 pm

Story
This 2.5 year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with the silkiest ears and sweetest soul is looking for his new best friend! Squeegee was rescued from the streets and we got him from the same rescue when he was 8 months old. This black-and-white cutie would like a home with a smaller dog companion or even being the only pup wouldn't hurt his feelings. Squeegee is affectionate, loyal, and will happily sit at your feet (or right beside you on the sofa) until he gets the love he deserves. He loves to play catch with his Kong ball and even enjoys watching TV. Squeegee is house and crate trained, neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. He hasn't lived with cats or small humans but does fine with adults. He's got all the qualifications to be someone's new best friend and we want a loving and safe home for him.

Story
Meet Chase, a one-year-old, maybe heeler mix, who’s come an incredible distance from his feral beginnings. What was once fear has turned into trust, and he’s learning every day that people can be kind and loving. Chase is crate trained with no accidents and enjoys quiet time in his safe space. He still needs a little help loading into the car (he prefers to be gently lifted), and his favorite “game” is running just out of reach outside—it’s his playful way of saying, “Catch me if you can!” Once you get down on his level, though, he’ll come close for shy kisses and even ask for belly rubs. Chase is looking for a patient, gentle family who will keep helping him blossom into the happy, confident dog he’s meant to be. Apply to meet him today at carerescueok.org!   ##2469131##

Story
Haven, a beautiful Blue Heeler with all the best traits of her breed — loyal, intelligent, and full of energy! True to her heeler nature, Haven is quick to learn, eager to please, and always up for adventure. Her absolute favorite thing in the world? Going for car rides with her person! Whether it’s a quick errand or a long drive, she’s happiest watching the world roll by right next to you. Haven is affectionate and deeply devoted to her humans. She would do best as an only dog so she can soak up all the attention, and because of her natural herding instincts, she’s best suited for a home without small children (she’d want to “herd” them!). With her sharp mind, big heart, and love for life, Haven would make the perfect companion for an active person or family ready to include her in all their adventures. Apply to meet her today at carerescueok.org!   ##2404215##
