Meet Yuna! A 2-3 year old Cattle dog mix. Yuna was rescued along with her 5 puppies from the euthanasia list at OKCAW. She took great care of them and is ready to find her forever home. Yuna is great with other dogs. She is crate trained and house trained. She loves playing with other dogs but would do well as an only dog too. Yuna likes exploring outside and does well on walks. At the end of the day, Yuna loves some human cuddles. She is a great size at about 45 pounds. She loves collagen sticks and hiding them from the other dogs. Yuna really is such a perfect dog and would adapt well in any home.

More than anything, Honeybee loves being close to her humans. If she had her way, she’d probably crawl directly into your hoodie pocket and live there permanently like a warm emotional support marshmallow. She’s happiest curled up beside someone, soaking up affection and returning it tenfold with those gentle, thoughtful puppy eyes. Some of them grow into medium-sized emotional support gremlins with excellent cuddling skills. Honeybee is a 6-week-old, approximately 5lb female HuskyShepHeelerCollieWhoknows mix — scientifically speaking, that means she appears to be made up of equal parts fluff and intelligence. Potential breed guesses include German Shepherd, Husky, Australian Cattle Dog, and Border Collie… but honestly, her DNA probably just shrugged and said, “surprise me.” Her mama, Crickette, came to us after a kind person discovered she had given birth to her puppies INSIDE THEIR SOFA before bringing the little family to the shelter. Because apparently Crickette decided “couch cushions” qualified as luxury maternity housing. From there, this adorable crew officially joined our fluffy butt family. Mama is believed to be a German Shepherd/Husky mix and is only around 49lbs currently. As for dad? Well… dad appears to have been a traveling salesman with no forwarding address and a very strong commitment to mystery. Since mama isn’t huge and we don’t believe dad was very large either, we’re estimating Honeybee may end up somewhere around 50–60lbs fully grown. Now before anyone screenshots that estimate and holds us legally accountable in two years: that is PURELY a guess. She could end up smaller. She could decide she identifies as a moose. Genetics are basically a raffle ticket with paws. BUT — if you’ve secretly wanted a fluffy rescue dog without committing to full-sized Pyrabear status… this might be your moment. Honeybee and her siblings are likely going to be more “portable adventure fluff” than “takes up your entire king-sized bed and half your emotional stability.” When it comes to other living beings, Honeybee firmly believes every living creature exists for one reason: to either play with her or tell her she’s pretty. Preferably both. When it comes to other dogs, she loves romping around with her littermates and has also been having a grand old time playing with the foster family’s Pomeranian, Tallulah. Despite being approximately the size of a baked potato herself, Honeybee approaches life with the confidence of a dog who thinks she personally runs the household. She has not yet met any larger or unfamiliar dogs due to her young age and tiny immune system, but so far she has shown herself to be very social, playful, and eager to make friends. As for cats? Honeybee has not yet been introduced to any because she is still just a little baby bean. At this age, slow and proper introductions will be important, but her gentle and affectionate personality gives us good reason to think she could adapt well. Kids, however? Oh, Honeybee is ALL IN on kids. Tiny humans, big humans, humans willing to hand out cuddles — she accepts them all. She absolutely loves attention and affection and is happiest when someone is loving on her, carrying her around, or letting her snuggle up close like the world’s fluffiest little emotional support nugget. Right now, Honeybee’s energy level is around a 3/10. Honeybee is currently operating at what experts call “baby marshmallow energy.” Not lazy. Not wild. Just softly existing between snack time, cuddle time, and dramatic little puppy naps. he absolutely enjoys playing and bouncing around with her siblings, but like most tiny puppies, she also spends a large portion of her day snoozing, recharging, and pretending life is simply too exhausting after five whole minutes of activity. Her personality is incredibly affectionate and intuitive. Honeybee has this thoughtful little way about her that makes it feel like she’s paying attention to everything around her. She loves cuddles, adores attention, and truly seems happiest when she’s tucked beside someone soaking up affection like a tiny fuzzy sponge. Honestly, if Honeybee could legally fuse herself to a human lap and spend the rest of her days being carried around like royalty, she probably would. And she’d look very pleased with herself while doing it. Honeybee may currently resemble an innocent little stuffed animal that accidentally came to life… but let us all remember she is still, in fact, a puppy. A very cute puppy. A very sweet puppy. But still a puppy. That means her future family will need to be ready for all the normal puppy responsibilities that come with raising a tiny fluff gremlin into a well-rounded adult dog. Proper socialization will be especially important for her while she’s young so she can continue building confidence and learn how to navigate the world appropriately. Positive experiences with people, sounds, environments, and other animals will help her grow into the best version of herself. And of course: puppy proofing. Cords, shoes, tiny objects, and anything remotely chewable should be kept picked up while she learns what is and isn’t hers. The good news? An associate of mine was diagnosed with a brain tumor and was overwhelmed with all the appointments and treatments and was going to put the dog down. I offered to step in and help to prevent having to put the dog to sleep. He's neutered, 5 years old in good health and is high energy. He's great with other dogs. Love's to play and be around his family and other dogs. Loves to go on walks but he is a puller and needs leash training. He's not a good listener but knows some commands. He will fair well with a big yard and other dogs. He is create trained and housebroken but not chipped. I have all his medical records which are up to date. No fee for adoption.
