Story
Jesse is such a sweet boy. If you're looking for a calm, relaxed companion who follows you everywhere, Jesse is the dog for you! He wants nothing more than to lay at your feet and just be your companion. He does well in a harness, but can pull a little. He doesn't jump up on you. Knows sit and lay down and we're working on stay. Good with cats and kids. Jesse was attacked by some dogs in his own yard. He was surrendered and has had a long journey of healing. His back leg does not work as well as we were hoping, but it doesn’t slow him down. He was treated for heartworms, and has made a complete recovery. Jesse needs a home with a calm dog and loving family.

Story
Freedom is a sweet girl who is very much a puppy still. She came to us as a dump case with an injured leg that has recovered beautifully. Despite being obviously neglected, she loves anyone willing to love on her. She can be rambunctious and spontaneous, its in her breed to work and you can see a willingness to learn with that heeler intelligence. She is a medium sized dog who should be in a home with no other pets. If interested in more info, please come in for a meet&greet or fill out an application.

Story
Lotus was pulled from Animal Welfare under medical assumptions of an injury to her back/hips. Well, her medical diagnosis? Bow legged in her hind legs. Lack of proper nutrition and diet is suspected to be the cause of how Lotus held herself and her movement. Since she has been with us, Lotus is filling out, getting stronger, and her movement is much improved. Update: Since Lotus unfortunately hasn't found her furever home we have learned a lot about her. We've learned she enjoys the company of some of our dogs while having yard time. She loves to play with other dogs and behaved very well at the adoption events she has attended. She's an absolute doll and her personality has really come out. If interested, come in for a meet&greet to see her in person and apply @ EnidSPCA.org

Story
This is extremely difficult but we are having to rehome our beloved Sydney. She and our other dog Betsy don’t get along and we are sure it’s mostly Betsy’s aggressive behavior. We know Sydney is a much better dog for us to rehome and I think she would adapt much better. We adopted her 2 years ago from the ESPCA in hopes that her and Betsy would be best friends. Well it’s been far from friendly and recently it came to an actual fight and so we are having to separate them which means lots of cage time. They are used to just roaming the house all day napping on couches and going in and out the doggie door. Now we have a schedule and all this extra stuff just to keep them separated it’s definitely degraded the quality of life for both dogs. We are wanting to find a new home for Sydney that offers even more adventure and stimulation than we have offered possibly a younger couple that is adventurous. Sydney loves the water and to chase rabbits she seems like she could run all day long.
