Story
Meet Anna Anna is a 3 year old, pitbull mix who had a rough start to life being used over and over again for breeding purposes which has caused her to be a nervous lady in certain situations. She is in search of a forever home that can give her some stability. Anna would love nothing more than to live in the safety and comforts of a home with a family that will give her the love and attention she's always deserved. She will need an owner that is patient and understanding of her past; a low-traffic, adult only home where she could be the only pet would be ideal for her. She loves going for walks, playing with toys (she's a pro at fetch!) and getting belly rubs from staff. Anna is spayed, microchipped & up to date on vaccines. If you have a nice relaxing couch with an empty seat waiting to be filled- Go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form! (It can be found under the adoptable dogs section).

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Looking for a four-legged friend who is silly, fun, and lighthearted? Meet Goober, a lovable goofball ready to make you laugh and melt your heart. Goober is a 10-month-old, 45lb Australian Cattle Dog mix who gets along great with other dogs, adores humans, and is good with confident, dog-savvy cats.  Goober loves to wrestle his stuffed toys, or play tug-of-war with his doggy pals.  He loves to chase or be chased...doesn't matter which, as long as he's having fun and burning off his "Zoomies."  If needed, he’ll even dangle a toy or stick in front of his buddies to get a game of chase or tug-of-war going.  When tuckered out from playing, Goober can often be found snoozing in his kennel, on his back with legs splayed in the air, snoring. Goober walks well on leash and enjoys going for car rides.  He is well-mannered in public, often lying down to wait patiently while his foster mom chats with friends.  He loves to cuddle on the sofa, or will roll over at your feet and let you rub his belly with your toes!  He knows basic commands like “sit,” “down” and “kennel.”  He is crate-trained and house-broken.  And his groomer gives him high marks for baths and nail trims.  The ideal home for Goober will have a fenced yard with enough space for him to run and play.  He would also love an active family who enjoys walks and outdoor activities.  If you’re looking for a goofy and affectionate buddy who will make you smile and laugh all day, EVERY day, look no further than Goober. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. November 30, 2023, 12:08 pm
