You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. FENNIC was saved from a kill shelter in Louisiana and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 10 October 2023. FENNIC is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch.He has an estimated date of birth of September 2022 and at the time of transport weighed around 38 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue YouTube channel and photo albums on our Facebook page to see a LOT of pictures and videos. FENNIC is a very affectionate, sweet loving boy. He has a lot of energy and a lot of love to share. He is very responsive and is bonds very well with humans. He has been around adults of all ages, shapes and sizes, small children and people with special needs and was gentle and loving. He is looking for an active family who can give him the lifestyle that he needs to lead a happy, healthy life. He does like to be close to his human as much as can be, so someone that wants a best friend to take everywhere and do everything with would be Fennic's perfect home. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. FENNIC is located at the rescue in Sebec Maine and is available for a reduced adoption fee of $3 50. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838 HOUSE TRAINED - All of our dogs are located in the kennel building so we are not able to say if a dog is house-trained, however, they do have access and use the dog door to access their run, play area 24/7. FOOD - We feed a variety of high quality brands and flavors including, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and fish generally alternated daily. CATS - As the dogs are in the kennels, we are not able to say how they are with cats.
