Albert is a 43 lb neutered male that is a mix. Not sure what breeds. He is extremely loving! Is crate trained (likes the door open) and housetrained. Loves to play with running after balls and playing with other dogs! In foster before with small dogs and large dogs! We have to cat test him yet! Was about to be euthanized in Texas at a kill shelter because of lack of space, not behavior! He is an awesome dog! So we pulled him and had him transported here after being neutered! ##1983025##

Story
Meet Anna Anna is a 3 year old, pitbull mix who had a rough start to life being used over and over again for breeding purposes which has caused her to be a nervous lady in certain situations. She is in search of a forever home that can give her some stability. Anna would love nothing more than to live in the safety and comforts of a home with a family that will give her the love and attention she's always deserved. She will need an owner that is patient and understanding of her past; a low-traffic, adult only home where she could be the only pet would be ideal for her. She loves going for walks, playing with toys (she's a pro at fetch!) and getting belly rubs from staff. Anna is spayed, microchipped & up to date on vaccines. If you have a nice relaxing couch with an empty seat waiting to be filled- Go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form! (It can be found under the adoptable dogs section).

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Colt, the 1-2 year old Amish blue heeler, eagerly embarked on his Rumspringa... curious about life beyond the farm. He trotted over to surrounding neighbors, charming everyone with his playful antics and irresistible belly rub requests! But as he roamed, Colt quickly discovered that his true calling is in being a loyal companion and cuddle buddy. With a heavy heart, his owner surrendered him to the shelter, where Colt hopes to find a new family who can give him all the love and attention he craves. Colt walks very well on a leash, and is intelligent and eager to please-making him a great candidate for training and learning new tricks! He's a social butterfly who gets along well with other dogs, is gentle with children, and has passed our cat test (a meet and greet is required at our shelter for any canine siblings). Colt is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. If interested in adopting, please go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form (located under the ‘adoptable dogs' section).

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This poor puppy named Queso has been through a lot already. He was thrown out of a car and hit by the car behind. He was taken to the vet with a broken leg, and while he was there, he also contracted Parvo. Miraculously, he survived! They put a plate in his leg, but unfortunately, it was not strong enough and it broke. The only option left was to amputate his leg. He is only 4 months old and is such a sweet pup. Now, he is a tripod, but he will do well since he is young. If you want to adopt him, please note that you must live within an hour of the rescue. Apply at www.furryfeetrescue.com.
