Story
MEET ONE OF THE POETS! So named because they came to us on Valentine's Day. Animal Control had found them all in a crate on the road and reached out for rescues to help. We are so glad they are with us and enjoying room to roam and good food. They are doing great and being well-socialized -- getting the "JoJo's touch" -- so we know they will be happy additions to the families that give them their forever homes. There 4 girls and 2 boys and on the 14th we estimated them to be 5 weeks old. There are 4 girls and 2 boys. We do not have a good breed mix guess, but several of them have speckled areas that look like their could be some Heeler in them. Based on their size now we are guessing they will be medium-sized adult dogs (45-55 lbs) but that may change after we have a couple of weeks to track their growth rate. The puppies will be 8 weeks old and ready to go home on March 7th. We are taking applications now so that we can hopefully find them their homes by the time they are ready to leave their siblings. If you think you might want to give this sweet pup a home, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will send you an application, or visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment, and microchip with lifetime registration. Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!

Story
Mama Millie and her 8 tiny babies were found under a porch and taken to animal control. The babies were only 1-2 days old. We are so thankful someone took them in so animal control could reach out to rescues for help. JoJo's took mama and babies in when they were about 5 days old. At the time, all babies were indistinct little black and white looking piles of fur – but over the next several weeks all of them blossomed into beautiful puppies. Millie is 36 lbs and appears to be possibly a Heeler/Beagle cross. Millie has been a perfect mama and is now ready to find her own forever family. She is one of the sweetest mama dogs we've rescued – she has been wonderful, friendly and affectionate with all visitors who have come to meet her puppies and was a great patient at the vet as well. She enjoys car rides and is a pretty quiet girl so far. Our vet estimated her to be two-to-three years old. If you are interested in meeting this lovely mama girl a chance to live her best life, please email us at jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you an application, or download one from our website www.jojosdoghouse.com. Adoption fee is $250 and includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and parasite treatment and prevention. Thanks for choosing adoption! Story
Meet Echo! This adorable boy appears to be a 3-4 month old Blue Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog mix. He came to us from animal control. Echo weighs 15 lbs now and, if our breed mix guess is right, he should grow up to be a medium-sized adult dog -- maybe 35-45 lbs. He is house-trained to a doggy door. He's a pretty chill little dude and is currently playing nicely with the remaining Poet Litter puppies, but he would really rather be at home with his new family -- is that you? He absolutely loves water, so a family that enjoys water-related activies would bring him so much joy. If you think you might want to give this sweet pup a home, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will send you an application, or visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download one.
