Story

Mama Millie and her 8 tiny babies were found under a porch and taken to animal control. The babies were only 1-2 days old. We are so thankful someone took them in so animal control could reach out to rescues for help. JoJo's took mama and babies in when they were about 5 days old. At the time, all babies were indistinct little black and white looking piles of fur – but over the next several weeks all of them blossomed into beautiful puppies. Millie is 36 lbs and appears to be possibly a Heeler/Beagle cross. Millie has been a perfect mama and is now ready to find her own forever family. She is one of the sweetest mama dogs we've rescued – she has been wonderful, friendly and affectionate with all visitors who have come to meet her puppies and was a great patient at the vet as well. She enjoys car rides and is a pretty quiet girl so far. Our vet estimated her to be two-to-three years old. Hi Everyone, We are looking for someone to adopt our sweet dog, Keena. She has been with us since she was six weeks old and we have loved having her. Keena loves being around family, going to dog parks, and cuddling up on the couch. We have two small children (one with special needs) and do not have time to give her the attention she deserves. She really thrives when she can get a daily walk or trip to a park, but unfortunately with our schedule, we can't always provide that. We are looking for a family that can give her more than we can. Story

Lex is an energetic and curious dog. We adopted him in 2018 from East CAN. Despite being somewhere around 6-8 years old, he has the energy of a puppy. When people ask me the breed of Lex, I usually say he's a mix of energetic and awesome. We have been told he looks like everything from a chihuahua with his long ears, a cattle dog with his face and short hair, and a terrier with his ability to levitate jump. Someone cropped his tail before we adopted him. He can jump super high, but has never jumped over our 5 foot fence. Lex would be a fantastic dog for someone who wants a running buddy (he runs well on a leash, but likes to pull if you're walking) or someone to protect their home (Lex barks if someone or something is out of the ordinary). He eats in his crate, never potties in the house, and has never torn up any of our stuff. He also does not like it when other dogs come close to our son. We are expanding our family and do not have the energy and time to give Lex.
