My name is Sunny and I'm adorable 6-7 month old male Cattle Dog/Lab mix. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts Age: 6-7 months old Kids: will do great with kids Dogs: will do great with other dogs Cats: will do fine with cats Training: needs full obedience training Extra video: https://youtube.com/shorts/itTOzlD3HGg?feature=share 1. My siblings and I were dumped on a rural road left to fend for ourselves and suffer. Thankfully someone kind picked us up and brought us to the best rescue. 2. My foster mom did a DNA test & I'm part Lab, part Cattle dog, & part super-mutt! I basically look like a mini black Lab. 3. I'm just a baby and I'm learning all sorts of new things. I need a patient adopter to teach me house & crate training and eventually give me a PHD in obedience skills. 4. I will get along with anyone and everyone. If you have kids, dogs, cats, turtles, chickens, or a crabby neighbor, my good looks & fun-loving personality will make every heart melt! 5. If you are ready to commit to 10-15yrs of love, laughter, puppy kisses, the occasional muddy floor, loyalty, and adventure - I'm your guy! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt? Meet Teddy! Teddy is a sweet senior gentleman with a heart full of love and a personality that will instantly make you smile. We estimate him to be around 6-7 years old, and he is the perfect companion for someone looking for a calm, loyal best friend. This handsome Cattle Dog mix is all about the simple things in life, a cozy couch, a warm lap, and being close to his person. Teddy is a true snuggle bug who would thrive in a quieter home, especially with an older or retired adopter who can give him the relaxed lifestyle he enjoys. He truly doesn’t need much and enjoys life this way! Teddy has a gentle, affectionate nature and a bit of a dignified charm. He can be a little grumpy with other dogs who are hyper at times, but overall does fairly well around them. With proper introductions and respectful space, he can coexist just fine. His adorable little side bite only adds to his unique character and charm. He is house trained, smart, and easy to love. Teddy would do well in a home where he can settle in, relax, and enjoy being a cherished companion. Teddy was saved from a euthanasia list and is currently in foster care while waiting for his forever home. He is available for out-of-state transport to the right adopter. He is fully vetted, neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations. We are unsure how Teddy would do with cats or young children at this time. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who is happiest curled up beside you, Teddy could be your perfect match. They may be young, but they already have their favorite things figured out: cuddles, naps, and being close to their people. ❤️ Each one is super sweet, sleepy, and cuddly, and they’re at the perfect age to start learning and growing into wonderful companions. They’ll need families who are ready for all the fun, patience, training, and puppy energy that comes with raising a young pup! Since they are still so young, these puppies will be foster-to-adopt. Their adopters will need to bring them back to New Leash every 2 weeks for their puppy vaccines until they are fully vaccinated and spayed/neutered. Once they are old enough to be fixed, their foster-to-adopt will be finalized. Squash, Pumpkin, Gourd, Butternut, and Acorn are still growing and developing their personalities, so we’ll continue learning more about each of them as they get older! 🥰 All New Leash dogs are primarily indoor pets with supervised outdoor playtime only and are up to date on vaccines, flea prevention, and heartworm prevention.
