Story
This Rascal kept showing up on the same porch, but it wasn't his home, so he finds himself off the street in the best way possible--safe at the shelter with us! A handsome boy with piercing eyes and a slight frame under that gorgeous coat, Rascal isn't fond of a leash but lets you carry him without a problem!! Rascal has been unfairly "gifted" with a positive heartworm test, but rest assured our Rascal will be treated at our shelter and on the way to heartworm-free in no time! Rascal is a bit slow to trust but is a gentle boy who may need a little extra time to ease into your life. Give him that time and his loyalty will soar! Rascal wants to have a permanent place in your home and heart and knows he is worth the chance!

Clara Belle Fergie was born at the rescue by a very pregnant mom soon after intake of mom. Clara Belle was the runt and was actually given mouth to muzzle to get her breathing. She was named Fergie and after being picked for adoption by her new mom soon after birth when ready, she was named Clara Belle Fergie. She and her brother had a most wonderful loving home. After Clara Belle and Matts mom passed unexpectedly, they had to come back here. Clara Belle has always been fun loving, and talkative at times. She loves her brother Matt and enjoys teasing him and getting him to play and explore. Clara Belle loves going out in the pasture with supervision, doesn't bother cows or horses and has always been adventurous! Doesn't mind a good swim either! She doesn't like inclement weather and prefers a 'safe place' during that time. She is a funny, full of life kinda gal!

Story
Meet Jupiter! 💜 Jupiter came to us thanks to an incredible good Samaritan who took in a very skinny stray mama who had just given birth under someone’s house. He kept her and all her babies safe and loved until they were old enough to be weaned. Once the pups were ready, he reached out to us, and that’s how Jupiter and her siblings found their way into our care. Jupiter is an 8-week-old firecracker with the softest, sweetest soul. She’s the shyest of her sibling trio, but she has come such a long way in her foster home. While she’s still learning to trust people, once she knows she’s safe she has the cutest little bursts of bravery—trotting up for pets like a very proud, very brave girl. She may be shy with humans, but with her siblings she’s a full-on zoomies master, and she’s even starting to play with her bigger foster brother, Jaxon (a ZAR alum, formerly Panda) who is 50lbs. At first she was unsure—she and her siblings had never seen other dogs before—but she’s learning that big dogs can be pretty fun, too. Sweet, silly, and already impressing us daily, Jupiter is doing amazing with kennel and potty training (no accidents yet🤞🏼). She’s the best at settling in her crate, and when it’s mealtime she runs straight to her kennel and waits patiently for her food to be served like the little queen she is. Jupiter is truly out of this world and would thrive in a patient, loving foster-to-adopt home ready to help her continue building confidence and shining bright.

Story
Meet Pluto, pure joy in puppy form! Pluto is an 8-week-old goofball and the biggest of the bunch—a certified chunky monkey. If he tumbles over, he doesn’t pop back up so much as roll… like a little roly-poly determined to get back into the action. Watching him exist is honestly entertainment. He was quick to trust humans and is currently convinced that hands are the absolute coolest chew toys ever (we’re working on it!). His favorite activities include eating, eating again, and relentlessly pestering his sister, Venus. When it comes to other dogs, Pluto has zero hesitation. While his sisters were a bit unsure of their big foster brother, Pluto was the first to say “let’s play!” and happily jumped right in, proving he’s got confidence to spare and a playful heart to match. Pluto is working hard on potty and kennel training and making progress every day—but he’s still very much a baby with lots to learn. He’s sweet, silly, and full of personality, and he’s already winning hearts left and right. If you’re looking for a happy, goofy pup who will keep you laughing and growing right alongside you, Pluto might just be your guy!

Story
Sir is a very happy, loving dog who truly adores people. He’s quick to snuggle and even quicker to hand out face kisses to everyone he meets! Sir loves playing with toys, romping with other dogs, and he has never met a treat he didn’t like (food motivation = training gold!). He’s potty trained and doing great with house manners, and while crate training is still a work in progress, he continues to improve every day. Sir’s joyful personality and affectionate nature make him the kind of dog that instantly feels like family.

Meet Bleu — The Definition of Resilience and Heart! 💙 Bleu is a handsome blue heeler with a big heart and even bigger personality. He’s friendly, loyal, and always eager to please — the kind of dog who makes every day brighter. Bleu is house-trained, has no food aggression, and gets along with everyone he meets. He’s a smart, polite boy who has mastered all the essentials — sit, stay, lay down, wait, and crawl — and he loves showing off his tricks! Ever the vigilant guardian, Bleu will give a bark or two when strangers approach or new animals wander into his yard, but once he knows you’re a friend, his tail won’t stop wagging. He’s the perfect balance of devoted companion and faithful protector. (Just no cats, please — he prefers a cat-free home!) Now, for the details: Bleu is estimated to be 6+ years old and is heartworm positive, currently undergoing slow-kill treatment due to his age. He’s also missing a few teeth, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying his meals — he happily recommends a little kibble mixed with wet food for a delicious and easy dinner. Bleu is truly an inspiration — a gentle soul who’s been through a lot but continues to face life with love, loyalty, and a wagging tail. 💜 📩 Apply to foster or adopt Bleu through Zoi’s Animal Rescue today! 🐾 linktr.ee/zoisanimalrescue
