Story
Jubal Sex: Female Breed: Shepherd Mix Age: Approximately 5 years old Good with: Dogs Not recommended with: Cats Crate Trained: Yes House Trained: Yes Jubal is one of those special dogs whose true personality shines once she knows she’s safe. While she may be shy and fearful when meeting new people, beneath that timid exterior is a bubbly, goofy girl with a heart of gold. Her favorite place to nap is upside down on the couch with her belly in the air, and she loves joining other dogs for playtime before settling in for a well-earned snooze. She’s crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and has wonderful manners around other dogs. Jubal has experienced significant trauma in her life, so she needs a patient adopter who understands that trust isn’t built overnight. She has never shown aggression—when she’s nervous, she simply cowers and quietly accepts handling. Once she feels secure, her sweet, smiley personality begins to blossom. Her ideal home is calm, gentle, and patient, preferably with another confident, friendly dog who can help her continue building confidence. Because of her unique needs, potential adopters will spend time visiting Jubal in her foster home before adoption so she can develop trust and feel comfortable with her future family. If you’re willing to let Jubal move at her own pace, you’ll discover an incredibly loyal companion with one of the purest souls you’ll ever meet. Sometimes the greatest love stories are the ones that take a little time to unfold.  ##2513638##

Story
Stella is a 5-year-old, 38-pound Australian Shepherd who is a sweet, cuddly fluff ball with a more complicated side. She is completely housebroken, crate-trained, and has never had an accident in the home. She is low-energy, loves to be near her person, and is happy to relax beside you while someone else gets attention. She has lots of love to give and does very well with a predictable, calm routine. Stella does have an aggressive and territorial streak, so finding the right home for her is extremely important. She cannot live with babies or children. When she feels threatened or becomes territorial, she may bite people. She can also react toward small dogs when she feels threatened or protective of her space. For this reason, she would do best as the only pet, although she has generally seemed comfortable around cats. Her ideal home would be a quiet adult household with someone who is home much of the time. Stella does not like being left alone for long periods, but when she is with her person and feels secure, she does very well. If placed with another dog, that dog should be her size or larger, calm, and experienced with appropriate canine boundaries. Stella is also fearful of being confined in a small room, such as a bathroom, and can become very distressed when closed into tight spaces. For bathing and grooming, she does best at a professional groomer or somewhere with a large, comfortable grooming tub. Stella is not the right dog for every home, but for the right experienced adopter, she can be an incredibly loving and devoted companion. She needs someone who understands her boundaries, can provide a calm environment, and is willing to manage her territorial behavior responsibly. Adoption fee is $400 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Fluffy Calabaza is a two-year-old outside country dog, comfortable in the great outdoors! He does well around children and has been around many other animals, but he does love the taste of chicken, so a chicken-free home would be the best fit for our boy! Calabaza tends to guard his food, so feeding him separately would be a wise choice. While he may be shy around people he doesn't know, just give him a little bit of time and he'll show you his true blue good boy colors! Looking to add a floof to your menagerie?? We'd love for you to meet Calabaza!
