She’s crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and has wonderful manners around other dogs. Jubal has experienced significant trauma in her life, so she needs a patient adopter who understands that trust isn’t built overnight. She has never shown aggression—when she’s nervous, she simply cowers and quietly accepts handling. Once she feels secure, her sweet, smiley personality begins to blossom. Her ideal home is calm, gentle, and patient, preferably with another confident, friendly dog who can help her continue building confidence. Because of her unique needs, potential adopters will spend time visiting Jubal in her foster home before adoption so she can develop trust and feel comfortable with her future family. Zeke is a 12-year-old senior pup who still has plenty of energy and a huge love for life. We adopted him from a shelter when he was about 6 months old, and he has been a wonderful companion ever since. We're only rehoming him because we're starting travel contract work and can't give him the stable home he deserves. Zeke's favorite things are going on walks and getting scratches at the base of his tail—if you find that spot, you'll have a best friend for life! He's incredibly affectionate and loves spending time with his people. He knows commands including come, sit, stay, and "go to your bed," and he has great house manners. Despite being a senior, he still enjoys getting out for walks chilling in the same room as his family. He has some fear based aggression towards stramge new dogs, but gets along with our other dog splendidly. Zeke would love a home where he can enjoy plenty of affection, daily walks, and a family who will cherish him through his golden years.
