Story
Breed: Blue Heeler / cattle dog Meet Billie! She is a wonderful dog. She definitely prefers outside during the day and inside during the night. She does not do well with fireworks, thunder, or other loud sudden noises. It was reported that she got along well with a couple of male socialized dogs, But she does not have a good relationship with our 2 female dogs. She loves to snuggle and will gladly lay with you on the couch, bed, or floor. Those snuggles are her favorite thing. She also enjoys car rides. Belly rubs and food. She does not exhibit any food aggression towards us even when we move the dish, rub her face, or just take the food away before she is finished. Billie enjoys chasing balls but prefers to be chased when she has the ball. She is very good on a leash but does tug a little. She can also be trusted to stay by you if you take her without a leash to get mail or something. So far there have not been any distractions when we have walked her without a leash, but I suspect she might run if she sees another dog. She is house trained and will hold her pee until she just cannot and then rather than pee on the floor, she will dribble on herself. It is possible there might be a bladder issue there. She really tries extremely hard to learn and obey and she is certainly teachable. She understands basic commands such as sit, shake hands, lay down and wait. Billie would do well with a large, fenced yard and children to play with. I have zero worries about her and my children. She is high energy and enjoys running with you, from you, or chasing you. She seems to prefer women to men but enjoys both. Bringing her indoors at night to sleep or during noise events (fireworks, shooting, thunderstorms) is important. She enjoys being in the company of humans indoors or outdoors. Once she gets comfortable, she would prefer to spend every waking moment with you. She is certainly affectionate with us. She is just a joy to have. If she got along with our other dogs, we would gladly keep her. I do not have the experience or time to work on this with her, but I'm sure that if someone were to work with her just a couple times a day for 20 or 30 minutes, she can be trained to have a good relationship with other dogs. She's a herd dog by nature so we are guessing she could work well with livestock with the right training. In hot weather she tends to dig in the shade to keep cool.

Story
She is a very sweet and energetic dog. When I got her from the shelter a few months back all they knew about her was that she was a stray. As soon as we started going out on walks she got very aggressive towards other dogs and I'm not sure what the cause is. I've worked with her and a trainer for a few months and the aggression isn't getting any better. I'm nervous to even walk her around the apartment complex due to the interactions she's had with other dogs and feel the best bet is to try and get her rehomed.

Story
Hi! I`m Fruit Bat!!Yeah. That`s my name! I know! I know!I have a cool bat mask across my face, and I could`ve been named Bat Girlor Batwoman or even Bat Dog!Bat Dog would`ve been great! Maybe even DC Comics would`ve heard of me andcreated a series about me, but that`s not going to happen. No one wants tosee a movie about Fruit Bat.I`m not complaining...much. I`m a good lady, and I have a lot of lovingtalents that will make me a wonderful companion. I like to play with toys, and you can play with me too, or sit on the sidelines and just watch. You`ll find me quite entertaining.I`m decent on a leash, and do enjoy taking walks and hikes. I`m an amazingfamily member. All I need is a chance! My only stipulation is I`d prefer tobe your one and only! Not too bad! Many of you are a one pet family.Come to 2032 Circle Road and ask to meet Fruit Bat! Yeah, I know, butthat`s me, and I`m wearing it well! I promise!

Story
Pinecone says his new year has been rather `eh` since living in a shelterdoesn`t support his New Year`s resolution which is to find a forever home! Why should you rush to meet Pinecone?First, he wants you to know he`s not anything like his name suggests. He`snot prickly, hard or easily broken. Pinecone isn`t an accent decoration, either! This Pinecone is the center of attention, especially when he walks by!Pinecone is a nice and amazingly handsome guy! He`s still young and he`sstill learning about how life works. He`s a smart guy, and he`s gettingthere. What he does know, he knows it well!Pinecone walks okay on a leash. With practice, he`ll reach expert status inno time! He is dog friendly, but again, this is a work in progress. He`s insuper small groups with dogs who have been educated in dog play, which willhelp him improve his doggie relations.Pinecone is ready to improve his living arrangements with his new family! He`s asking if you`ll meet him and give him a chance! He`s a great boy!
