Stevie came to Elmore SPCA as a stray and after no one came forward to claim her, she is looking for a new home. Stevie is a special dog, who will need a very specific home. She is high energy and wants things the way she wants them. She is very much like a cat in that sense. She will need someone who can be patient with her, and is willing to put in the effort train her. She would do best in a home where she can be the star of the show. We believe she will bond very strongly with her person, but she should only go home with an experienced dog owner. Meet Bella! This 6 year old girl came to us in need of surgery after tearing a ligament in her rear leg. She is doing well after having had surgery in January. She does well with cats, calm dogs, and older children. She is a Beagle/Cattle Dog mix and weighs about 35 lbs. She is crate trained and house trained. She walks well on a leash and knows some basic commands.
