PICKETT Pickett was born in 2015. He is about 45 pounds, mostly black. He is a mystery mix. LOVES EVERYONE! He gets along with all people - he's a hugger and kisser Loves other dogs - moderately playful. He does try to hump the first time meeting, but is easily corrected. Loves cats. Great on the leash. And in the car. He's not young, but has tons of puppy like energy. LOVES toys and bones. Good house manners. HOWEVER, when unsupervised he should be crated or he may chew inappropriately. He was with a rescue for the last seven years and was never chosen somehow - despite his super friendly adorable personality. That rescue closed, he went to a local shelter, and knowing him personally, I had to bring him here HE DESERVES A WONDERFUL HOME. He's a hoot! Our upcoming move with small children means we can no longer meet his needs. Leo excels off-leash—staying close and checking in regularly. On trails, he scouts ahead before returning to make sure you're following. He comes immediately when called and is a true "velcro dog" who loves affection. Leo is good with other dogs and children (note: he has a herding dog's natural nipping instinct) and is fully house-trained.
