Story
Meet Pumpkin! She is a 5 yr old Australian cattle dog in search of a new home. She is still full of energy, loyal and sweet. She loves walks, fetch and a rainy day inside. She is good with children and would make an excellent only pet although with the right family another dog would not be a deal breaker as she is good with our other dog currently. If she sounds like she could make a good addition to your pack please feel free to reach out.

Story
Bandit was adopted from our rescue as a pup and was sadly brought back because his adopter was having a baby and unable to care for him. He is a loving boy who is used to lots of room to run and play. He loves the outdoors, making him a wonderful camping/hiking partner. He has been raised around kids, but because he is a cattledog, he may try to nip them. He means no harm; it's just his breed. Bandit is housebroken and crate trained according to his previous family. He has lived with other dogs but has not been tested around cats. If you would like to adopt Bandit, please submit an application https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/66b189c45d6f9afa2c07afb8/66b954c3bf28ecca4c04aecb

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Dash is an intelligent, incredibly affectionate dog whose favorite thing in the world is being with his people. This handsome boy is a big-time cuddler who believes the best place to be is curled up on or next to you on the couch! Dash is a true sweetheart with an enormous capacity for love. He is incredibly devoted and a true "Stage 5 Clinger," making him the ultimate companion who just wants to be part of the action. This deep loyalty means he is highly motivated to stay near his people. A fenced yard is recommended to keep him safe as he learns his boundaries.  He has a gentle, soft demeanor, and his excited jumping is more like a sweet, soft hug that's easily redirectable.  Dash is super smart and eager to please! He quickly learned his name and the "sit" command and is crate trained. While he is showing great promise in his training, he is still working on mastering his house manners—with a consistent schedule, he'll quickly complete this last lesson!  He enjoys playing tug with toys and loves any activity that taps into his natural instincts, like a flirt pole. Dash is a fantastic, perfect running partner and enjoys walks, but he needs a consistent handler to practice and perfect his leash skills. Dash is wonderful with the other dogs he has met and loves to play! He is gentle meeting new people, suggesting he would do well with children (with supervision). While he has not been cat tested, his excitement when he sees cats on walks causes him to want to chase them. We feel cats are a no first Dash. Patience will be rewarded with a devoted, loving companion who will complete your family!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 2, 2025, 8:12 pm

Story
We adopted Roxanne in July 2024. Originally she was my mother’s dog (who lives with me), but she only bonded to me. It is evident she has been abused in the past but she has come a long way as far as not being so timid, but she still gets quite nervous around new people (especially men). She does great with other dogs and cats once she has time to adjust (may get nervous and want to hide at first). She is a very sweet girl once you earn her trust, LOVES to snuggle and will beg for belly rubs.
