Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Indiana, affectionately known as Indy, is a handsome 1-year-old Foxhound/Cattle Dog mix weighing about 50 pounds. With his boundless energy, loving nature, and playful personality, he’s ready to be your most devoted companion! What Indy Loves: Playing tug-of-war and fetch—especially with a tennis ball! Exploring the yard and running off his energy in a safe space. Snuggling up with his favorite humans after a fun day of play. Learning! He’s smart, eager to please, and working hard on his manners. The Perfect Home for Indy: Indy thrives in a calm, structured environment where he’s the only pet. He’s incredibly affectionate with people and loves children, though his enthusiasm might be a bit much for very young kids. A home with a securely fenced yard or a rural setting where he has space to run would be ideal. Special Considerations: Indy has some anxiety and is reactive toward other dogs, so he’ll need a patient and understanding owner willing to continue his training. His current family has been working with a trainer and is even offering to cover the first couple of months of private training for his new home to help him succeed! Indy is fully house-trained, crate-trained, neutered, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. He’s an incredibly loyal dog who just needs the right environment to thrive. Could you be the one to give Indy the safe and loving forever home he deserves? If you’re looking for a devoted companion and are ready to help him become his best self, he’s ready to love you in return!      CVRR is listing this dog as a COURTESY to the actual owner. Story
My name is Fancy . I am estimated to be 2 years old. I am a very sweet girl, but I have a very quirky personality. I am very good in the house ; I am crate trained and have used a doggie door. I love jumping right in the car and going for rides ! I walk on a leash every day currently. When I first meet people, I am very cautious, and act scared. I defiantly bond very fast to women. Young kids scare me, and I tend to go hide in my safe place , my crate. Once I feel comfy around you , I act just like every other dog. I love to give kisses , play with my toys and go for walks on the leash. I love fresh carrots for a treat or a big rawhide to chew on. I have lived with several dogs before and enjoy their company. All my vet work is done, and I am microchipped. My adoption fee covers transport from Tennessee. I can be a very good loyal companion in the right setting. I don’t necessarily need a fenced in yard if you walk me on a leash every day.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hale has been with foster caregiver for over a year now. He has always lived outdoors, and is satisfied with having a fenced area all to himself, although he does tolerate visits from other canines. He is lovingly called “Old Man” and even though he can be crotchety, he has had a rough time and we forgive him. (Hale recently lost his human, and was one of eight working dogs left behind. The others have found homes with adopters or rescues, but Hale has a tough time adapting.)   The teens in this family have spent time working to befriend him, and have seem him happy and wiggly as well as the “don’t touch my backside” side of him. We would love for him to find a home with a farm, where he can work if he wants to, and hang out if he wants to. He does not need to be in a home as he has always been outside. He did visit another home for about two weeks, and we hoped it might work as a Forever situation, but unfortunately, old man focused on the rabbits who lived in the house, and all he could think about was pursuit. He was doing well with his house training in the time he was there, so we feel like if an outdoor home is not necessarily ideal, he could live in a house if he wanted to as long as he had access to the outdoors.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 17, 2025, 10:24 am
