Story
Lily Pad is a very sweet girl who is feeling a little overwhelmed in the shelter environment. Once she knows she’s safe, her gentle and loving personality really shines through. She walks well on a leash and enjoys spending quiet time with her people, though she will benefit from continued training to help build her confidence. Lily Pad does have significant arthritis in her back left leg due to an old injury. Because of this, she’s looking for a less active home where she won’t be expected to run or engage in high-impact activities. She will need ongoing maintenance care for her arthritis, but with the right support, she can still live a comfortable and happy life. 🏡 Ideal Home for Lily Pad: • Calm, patient environment • Low-activity lifestyle • Someone willing to continue basic training • Committed to managing her arthritis needs Lily Pad may be nervous at first, but she is truly a sweetheart who just needs someone willing to see past her fears and physical limitations. She has so much love to give to the right home. 💗 If you’re looking for a gentle companion who will appreciate a quieter life, Lily Pad could be your perfect match. updated 02/06/26
