Story
We advise all adopters to expect the 3-3-3 rule as a general guideline for introducing a pet to the home: 3 days to decompress (will show nervousness, hiding, reduced appetite), 3 weeks to settle into a routine (beginning to explore and showing personality), and 3 months to build trust and feel fully comfortable in their new home. This period may be longer for shy or extremely scared animals. A typical cattle dog mix, Bingo will do best in a no-cat (and probably no-chicken) home. However, Bingo is fantastic with dogs and will tailor his energy levels to the dog he's paired with. He does have a tendency to herd dogs and people, but that is a breed consideration and should be expected with cattle dog mixes. Bingo ADORES trips out with volunteers and has done beautifully with everyone he's met.

Story
Introducing Maggie, a beautiful terrier mix looking for her forever home. Although she is estimated to be only slightly over a year old this sweet girl is full of joy. She loves to play, get lots of attention and is always happy. She does have quite a bit of energy so an active family and/ or a fenced in yard is preferred. She does well with other dogs, particularly energetic ones looking for a playmate, but needs to be in a home without cats as they can be a little too tempting to harass. She is currently strong on leash but our foster is working on her training, the world has so much to offer she gets super excited. She is housebroken and crate trained and ready for a loving family to call her own! If a shorter stature bundle of fun is what you are looking for in a dog, look no further! Story
Chip will be two years old in August 2026. He is a cattle dog and pitt mix. He is house and crate trained, microchipped, neutered and up to date on all vaccines. We've had him since he was 8 weeks old and love him dearly. However, he does not get along well with our other older dog, and has shown signs of aggression towards our kids when they invade his space. We have worked with our kids and they understand, but they are young, and we aren't able to supervise 100% of the time. I truly believe he would be the perfect dog in a home with no other pets and no children. He loves belly rubs, toys and chasing after a ball. We love him and want to ensure he goes to a home where he will be equally loved and cared for, because he deserves that. He just needs the right home where he can be the number one focus and doesn't have to share his people with other pets or kids.
