Story
Introducing Maggie, a beautiful terrier mix looking for her forever home. Although she is estimated to be only slightly over a year old this sweet girl is full of joy. She loves to play, get lots of attention and is always happy. She does have quite a bit of energy so an active family and/ or a fenced in yard is preferred. She does well with other dogs, particularly energetic ones looking for a playmate, but needs to be in a home without cats as they can be a little too tempting to harass. She is currently strong on leash but our foster is working on her training, the world has so much to offer she gets super excited. She is housebroken and crate trained and ready for a loving family to call her own! If a shorter stature bundle of fun is what you are looking for in a dog, look no further! Visit us at reddogfarm.com and fill out an application.

Story
Gracie is a 10-year-old, pretty Blue Heeler/Australian cattle dog mix. She is housebroken and friendly, and likes to play with other dogs. She is up to date on shots and has current vet records. Her owners have developed medical disabilities that prevent them from being able to keep her. She sleeps through the night and loves to romp in the fenced yard. An experienced adopter is preferred, as she needs some basic guidance/training with commands, but she's a smart girl and a good listener. Applicants must be within driving distance of central North Carolina.

Story
Kimber came to live with us in December 2020 as a foster from SPCA of the Triad when our daughter was volunteering there. She is now 5 years old. She is very sweet and docile but needs some better training than we have been able to give her. Our senior dog is very anxious and skittish and she has picked up on some of this and it is affecting her confidence. We feel she would be better in a setting where she is the only dog. She does seem to get along well with our cat.

Story
WILL NEED IMMEDIATE BEHAVIORAL TRAINING. Abby is a 35 lb 5 yr old Border Collie / Australian Shepherd. She is very lovable, but only to one main person at a time...preferably women. She becomes very dominant towards that one person she chooses and doesnt like others around them. She views men as a threat and becomes very aggressive. She needs to be rehomed with someone experienced. Due to her behavioral issues, she is not fully house trained, most shots updated but not all. She does not do well with other dogs or larger families. Needs possibly only a couple or a farm. She needs someone who is patient, and experienced. She has a very loving side and becomes extremely intuned with your emotions. She was originally an emotional support dog, through a therapist. She is not crate trained and is used to sleeping on furniture with her owner. We believe apartment space and lack of socialization created this. We are willing to take her back within 60 days if it doesnt work in new home
