Story
Hey there! I’m Nila, a sweet little Australian Cattle Dog, on a mission to find my forever person.I may not trust everyone right away, but I promise, once I pick you, I’m all in. I’ll be your shadow, your loyal sidekick, and your biggest fan. I just need a little help with that whole “trusting others” thing, especially when they come close to my person. I love my human so much, sometimes I forget to share the love—I'm working on that, though!I'm looking for someone experienced who can show me that there’s plenty of love and attention to go around. With a little guidance, I know I’ll learn to be more comfortable with visitors and share the love, but I’m also the kind of dog who loves quality time with the person I choose. As for the rest of the crew? I’m great with other dogs, big or small!  I attend doggie daycare twice a week & LOVE it.  Cats? Totally cool with them, too. If you’re into walks, jogs, or runs, I’d make a fantastic partner. I walk nicely on a leash, and I’m a top-tier car passenger, ready for any adventure.I’d do best in a home with older kids, as I like a calm vibe and need a little space to adjust when I meet new faces. So, if you’re looking for a fun, energetic, and loving companion who’s a little shy at first but ready to bond deeply once I know you’re the one—then I might just be the perfect match!Let’s start this adventure together! Story
Howdy! I`m Cowboy, a very handsome, mighty 40-pound Heeler mix who`s ready to lasso his forever home! I arrived as a stray, but since no one came to reclaim me, I`m yours for the taking! At around one year old, I have tons of energy and live for fun! I love people, toys, and especially other dogs—I`m always ready to play, play, PLAY! I`m smart (I know `sit!` and walk pretty well on a leash), but I can still use some help with my manners when I get excited. Having another dog in the home would be great for helping me burn off energy and teaching me the ropes! I`ll make a wonderful addition to any active family looking for an energetic, affectionate companion. Apply to meet me soon!NOTE: every dog, cat and child will react differently to a new pet, so proper and safe introductions are always important for a smooth and successful transition. My adoption fee is $225.We do not have open hours for public viewing of our adoptable animals. We are by appointment only.If interested in adopting, please complete our adoption application. Once your application is approved, an appointment will be scheduled to visit with your desired pet.ONLINE APPLICATION can be found at: www.marshfieldpetshelter.org/adoption-applicationAll animals are vet examined, spayed/neutered, blood tested and microchipped. If old enough, they receive routine vaccinations.Thank you!
