We are Cajun and Grit! We came from a local home of too many animals in general. We were kept in the barn or kennel our whole life thus far. We have now come to the shelter and are blossoming! Grit is more brave than I, but I have come a long ways! We both love to go for walks. A few meetings may need to happen as new things are a bit frightening. We would love an active person or family!

We are Cajun and Grit! We came from a local home of too many animals in general. We were kept in the barn or kennel our whole life thus far. We have now come to the shelter and are blossoming! I am more brave than Cajun, but he has come a long way! We both love to go for walks. A few meetings may need to happen as new things are a bit frightening. We would love an active person or family!

My name is Rachel. I was adopted as a puppy, but never socialized the best. I came back to the shelter and have been working hard on meeting new people. I do have the 'stranger danger' bark when in my kennel or behind a gate, but do very well without a barrier present. I love to go for 5-6 miles walks and ride superbly in the car. I would love an active person or family! I may take a few meetings to get comfortable with you, but then you will have the best buddy ever!

This male heeler mix puppy came to us as part of a local unwanted litter here in Wisconsin, and he’s ready to find a family to call his own. Argyle is a pretty easygoing pup with a great balance of playfulness and calm. He enjoys romping around when it’s time for fun, but he’s just as happy settling in for a good snooze — especially in his crate, where he does wonderfully. His solid routine skills already make him a joy to have around. He does great with other dogs, kids, and cats, making him a fantastic fit for many households. Like all puppies, Argyle will thrive in a home committed to continuing his basic training and structure, helping him grow into the confident, well-mannered adult dog we know he’ll become. If you’re looking for a puppy who’s equal parts playful and chill, Argyle is ready to roll into your life. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
