Phoenix is still looking for his forever home. He was recently returned, due to no fault of his own, after being adopted by a couple a few months ago. Phoenix is a Cattledog, Pitty, and Shepherd mix and about 35 pounds. He has a little growing to do still. He is a little bit shy and a little wary of strangers especially men. Although his previous owner was a man. He is a little confused about why he is back with us. He absolutely loves children and must go to a home where he will have the opportunity to play with children often. He gets along with all other dogs and is submissive. He is completely doggy door trained but may need an adjustment period. His personality is so sweet. He does have bouts of energy and would benefit from another active dog that loves to play. He needs to have lots of strong toys and chews. He can quite vocal when he gets excited or wants your attention or the attention of his dog friends. He settles right down at night as soon as bed time comes. He's used to sleeping with us. He's a real good boy.
