Dexter is a playful, loving Australian Shepherd mix.  He's is well trained and passed obedience school with flying colors.  Dexter is crate trained, leash trained, and knows how to use a dog door. His favorite past time is hanging out in the yard and playing with his toys.  Dexter gets along well with both dogs and cats, but is protective of his humans.  He does seem to be threatened by smaller children, so he would do best with all adults or older children in the household. Clementine is an Australian Shepherd/Redbone Hound mix who was born in August 2015. She weighs about 30 lbs. Clem has a medical condition called megaesophagus. Dogs with megaesophagus have a dilated esophagus due to lack of muscle tone, which causes food to sit in the esophagus rather than travel to the stomach. As a result, it is not unusual for her to regurgitate. She is on a structured feeding routine and eats in a Bailey Chair. In spite of this, Clementine is an otherwise ‘normal' dog. She is very friendly with everyone - including other dogs and cats - and especially loves children. She is housebroken and crate trained. Clem's megaesophagus will be a lifelong medical condition that will need continued monitoring. She is an incredibly sweet dog and would love to be part of a family.

Bear was born on a farm in California from a purebred family of pedigreed Australian Shepherds. We got him as a puppy in Jan 2023 he's just over a 1.5yrs old now. He has been through training school and is well trained and great with our other dog (female mini husky) and newborn baby, but he is not good with new dogs initially until he gets to know them. He's incredibly sweet and loyal. Given his breed, he's extremely high energy and either needs a home with lots of land for him to run around, or needs to be taken out to play fetch 2x daily. We love Bear so much, but unfortunately we are moving to a city in Europe with narrow streets and no yard / few parks, which isn't fair to a shepherd like Bear that needs room to run in every day. So we're looking for the right family who has land and/or time needed to take him out to play fetch daily.
