Dahlia Marie is a beautiful 7-year-old black Australian Kelpie with a gentle soul and a loyal heart. She currently lives on a ranch in Escalon and is used to having space to explore and relax. Dahlia can be a little shy around men at first, but she warms up quickly with patience and a few tasty treats. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality really shines. She is wonderful with kids and truly phenomenal with female dogs. With male dogs, she can be a bit assertive, so slow introductions or a female companion would be ideal. Her owner is facing a time-sensitive situation and needs to find Dahlia a new home before the end of the month. A loving foster home would also be a huge help while she waits for her forever family. Dahlia would thrive in a calm, understanding home where she can feel secure and loved. Dorothy, formerly known as Huckaby, is a resilient senior girl who was saved from the euthanasia list and is now getting the second chance she deserves. After being neglected and dumped, she was in rough shape, but thanks to proper care and the love of her foster family, Dorothy has blossomed into a happy, vibrant dog. Her foster says she is no couch potato - now that her medical issues have been addressed, she has a new lease on life. Dorothy absolutely loves her walks, enjoys staying active, and is proving to be a wonderful farm dog. She gets along with all the other animals and is gentle, kind, and well-mannered. Dorothy is affectionate, loyal, and eager to be part of her family's daily routine. She still appreciates a soft bed and plenty of love, but she also thrives on activity and companionship.
