Dorothy, formerly known as Huckaby, is a resilient senior girl who was saved from the euthanasia list and is now getting the second chance she deserves. After being neglected and dumped, she was in rough shape, but thanks to proper care and the love of her foster family, Dorothy has blossomed into a happy, vibrant dog. Her foster says she is no couch potato - now that her medical issues have been addressed, she has a new lease on life. Dorothy absolutely loves her walks, enjoys staying active, and is proving to be a wonderful farm dog. She gets along with all the other animals and is gentle, kind, and well-mannered. Dorothy is affectionate, loyal, and eager to be part of her family's daily routine. She still appreciates a soft bed and plenty of love, but she also thrives on activity and companionship.
