She received the eye surgery she needed, was showered with love, patience, and comfort, and even formed an unlikely best friendship with a rehabilitating chicken. Somewhere along the way, Dorothy discovered the fountain of youth — and it turns out, it’s love. Now thriving, happy, and full of personality, Dorothy may not be a spring chicken… but she sure acts like one. She’s playful, affectionate, and ready to find her person — someone who will be her adventure buddy and continue showing her just how special she is. Meet Remy! This handsome man is smart, smart, smart! He's crate and house trained, knows all basic commands, walks on a leash well and knows some tricks!! He's easy to live with and gets along with other dogs. Here's the catch! Remy doesn't prefer pushy strangers who want to oogle and google over him. No hugging this man candy or giving him a squeeze on the cheek, telling him how cute he is. I can't say I blame him...... some people He needs a savvy home who will put him away for family gatherings, birthday parties, or a bbq with neighbors! Besides, he doesn't mind being crated with a bully stick while you guys chat it up. Out on walks, when someone asks to pet him it's ok to decline! Besides, just let them know he has covid and people will part like the Red Sea! He loves walks, hikes, traveling or just hanging out. No kids or cats, he doesn't want to compete with anyone for your affection!!!
