I’m a big love bug who thinks humans were put on this earth for one reason… to give me snuggles! I’ll follow you from room to room, curl up beside you on the couch (dog beds? no thanks), and keep you company all day long. I just love being close to my person. Now, I’m not gonna lie — I’m still a work in progress. The world can feel a little scary sometimes, and I’m learning to be brave! Things like strangers, bikes, and other dogs can make me nervous, so I need a patient, experienced human who will help me build confidence with positive reinforcement (no scary tools, please). I’m super smart and full of energy! I’d love a big fenced yard or property to zoom around on — apartment life just isn’t for me. I love playing fetch (still working on the “bring it back” part), tug-of-war, and sniffing out hidden toys. I’m also learning commands like “stay” and “leave it,” and I get better every day with yummy treats and praise. I’m crate trained, but I’d rather hang out with my people. I’m not destructive, and I promise to keep your couch warm while you’re gone! I also play rough sometimes (I just get so excited), so I’m learning self-control too. Baxter is a beautiful, playful, loving boy, very energetic. Baxter needs more attention, playtime and walks which because of my age and health restrictions I am unable to give him. Baxter is two years old now, he is a sweet boy. The only reason I wish to find him a new home is as above. I have to do this for his sake so his quality of life is met to the fullest possible. I am not asking for an adoption fee because I want him to be chosen for love and a loving family. Baxter is good with older children as I have older grandchildren but I do not know how he would react with young children. He has never been around cats so I cannot say how he would behave towards them. I know he is ok with other dogs .

Argo came to us from a kill shelter in Georgia. They were great on their flight and they are great here!! Argo is super sweet and cuddly, loves attention and food! He is great in a crate, working on leash training and learning to be a good boy!
