Ryker is a stunning & loyal companion ready for his forever home 🐾He’s ~45–50 lbs, fully house-trained, crate trained, and incredibly intelligent with a very solid command foundation. Playful, silly, loving, and so eager to please. He gets compliments on his looks and temperament everywhere he goes!Rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Santa Fe last October, Ryker has blossomed into an amazing companion who bonds deeply with his people ☀︎ He is friendly at dog parks and generally non-reactive in public, making him a wonderful dog to bring along on all of your adventures. He rides great in the car — even on long road trips — settles well at home, and enjoys both playtime and relaxing near his people. He loves flirt pole sessions, squeaky toys, hiking, and being outside. His ideal home would include:• A fenced yard• Daily exercise/play• Someone home often or with a consistent routine• A playful dog buddy would be a huge bonus ♡

Story
Sheina (DOB 5/18/24) is such a stunning girl! We are guessing shes a Kelpie/German Shepherd mix and she is so smart! Sheina is around 50lbs. She is dog friendly, cats unknown. Sheina is hoping to having a home with a privacy fence so she can run around enjoying the world. She also needs a home with kids over the age of 12. Sheina can be a little skittish, so she’d need a family who is patient and will give her time to show what an amazing companion she can be! Overall, Sheina is eager to learn and be the very very best girl. Sheina promises to be your best friend and who could resist those amazing perky ears. Story
Libby is sure a unique-looking young girl; how can anyone not love her huge ears!! She is thought to be an Australian Kelpie Mix (possibly with Bull Terrier). She weighs about 30 lbs. Her estimated date of birth is June 5th 2023. Libby is a typical puppy, very energetic and playful. She likes to jump and can sometimes forget herself and be a little too rough with other dogs. But….…she is young and needs to learn boundaries and manners in order to evolve into a wonder family member with a forever family she so deserves.. This sweet pup likes playing with other dogs; she’s great with dogs and would enjoy the companionship of another dog in the home. Most likely, a young or middle-aged adult dog would prefer his company much more so than a senior dog. An ideal family for Libby is one able to assimilate the enthusiasm and playfulness of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Libby to be her best self! A secure fenced yard is required; another younger or middle-aged pup in the family could also be advantageous. Libby is crate-trained and is working hard to improve her house manners (housebreaking). She is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Her spay is included in her adoption fee. For information about adding this adorable girl to your family please contact BAARKDogRescue@gmail.com or 847-852-0895.

Story
Name: Selena Possible Breed: Doberman / Kelpie Mix DOB: 5/18/24 Gender: Female Selena is a gentle, affectionate young girl who has truly blossomed in foster care. Rescued from a dangerous situation, she has grown into a loving, expressive, and personality-filled companion who is ready for her forever home. She is potty trained and crate trained, and she genuinely enjoys her kennel as a cozy, safe retreat. While she still appreciates her quiet crate time, she has also discovered the joy of couch lounging — sometimes even perched along the back of the couch “kitty style” to supervise the room. Selena is dog friendly and cat friendly — in fact, she is completely obsessed with Pretzel, her foster’s cat. They cuddle, they play, and they are often found relaxing together. (Check out the picture of them playing together!) She would do beautifully in a home with other respectful pets. Over the past month, Selena has truly found her voice. This once-quiet girl now happily shares her opinions and occasionally “gossips” with the neighbor dogs. She has a playful, expressive personality that continues to unfold as she gains confidence. She loves toys, especially her benebones and a beloved stuffed cactus. Whether she’s zooming around the yard, playing with her furry friends, or entertaining herself, she balances independence with affection. And when she’s feeling extra sweet, she’ll stop by for gentle hand kisses. Selena would thrive in a calmer home environment and would do best with no young children, or children over the age of 12 (Since she hasn’t been around kids). A secure privacy fence is recommended for her speedy zoomies and playful energy. She may need a little time to adjust to a new home, but once she feels safe, her loyal and loving nature shines brightly. Selena is seeking a home where she can feel secure, cherished, and understood — a family willing to give her the patience and kindness she deserves. In return, she will offer devotion, warmth, and a whole lot of personality. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will bring both love and a little sass to your home, Selena may be your girl. Story
Join the festival fun at Kuipers Family Farm (1N318 Watson Road, Maple Pakr, IL) and meet me and other adoptable dogs and puppies on Sunday, May 3rd from 10 AM – 1 PM! 🐾 Hi, I'm Coal! Thanks for checking me out! I know my cute face is hard to resist, but here's the scoop: I'll need a lot of your time and attention as I grow up into the amazing adult dog I'm destined to be! I'm looking for a forever family that will help me with socialization, training (yes, that includes house training!), and plenty of exercise. And let's not forget the chewing and teething-I'm still learning what's okay (and what's definitely not okay) to put in my mouth. So, be ready for some puppy-proofing! Don't forget those vet visits! I'll need to stay up to date on my boosters and vaccines, which means a few trips to see my favorite vet in the first few months. But trust me, all that effort will be worth it when you experience the endless love, puppy kisses, and pure joy I'll bring into your life. So, if you're up for the challenge and the fun, why not come meet me in person? Stop by during our adoption hours. For more details, email info@ahconnects.org or give us a call at 847-697-2880 x: 0. The friendly folks here will be happy to answer all your questions! Can't wait to meet you and start our adventure together! All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
