- Loves to learn and has great focus - especially if you have treats - so would be a lot of fun to train - Tends to be a linebacker-type player with other dogs, which some dogs may not appreciate; will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style (dog intro recommended) - May enjoy like minded dog friends- Prefers to explore and do their own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once they're in a home environment and have had time to decompress - The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: Black Weight: 30 Age: 1yrs 8mths 2wks

Story
Stormy is a year and I half old. My sister in law found her on the side of the road as a puppy, and didn't train her or anything. I took her in when she was around 6 months old and have tried my best to train her. She needs a home without cats. She does amazing with people and other dogs, but cats she will stalk and hurt. She is completely obsessed with them. Would rather stalk then then eat or play. Due to this she is very skinny and has issues eating. She tends to get food aggression. She is a loving sweet dog and would be perfect in a house with kids. Has a lot of energy she wants to play and run off. We just don't have the time or set up to give her the one on one training she needs, or care for her like she deserves. Then sooner we can find a good home fore her the better.
