Story
Meet Jasper - a 1.5-year-old mix rescued from a high kill shelter. He is a friendly guy about 45lbs, neutered, and up to date on shots. He was heartworm positive but is almost finished with treatment and doing very well. He’s house trained and learning basic commands. Jasper is thriving in a social environment and would love a home with a dog sibling or friends. He is pretty chill and would also do well as a single person’s best buddy. Jasper is smart and treat motivated. As a former stray, he can compete for food and treats, so should be fed separately to feel safe. The agile Jasper can jump six foot fences. When he’s happy in his own yard, he will stay put unless he hears something interesting. But, his new family should plan the yard accordingly or rely on leashed walks. Jasper is usually quiet but can howl mournfully if left alone. He would do well with a routine and learning to trust that his people will be back. Story
Hello, I was named Rocket because I am fast! I'm considered a blue Australian Cattle dog. I came from a cattle ranch in rural Florida that bred me and my family. How cool is that? I used to have a lot more space to be active in FL but my mom is in the military and had to come to someplace called Fayetteville, NC and get deployed. We used to run together. I've been less active and had to spend a lot of time in my crate at grandma's house, so I'm embarrassed to say I've put on a few pounds. I'm only 5 and still have lots of energy. I LOVE to play catch and must brag that I actually return and drop the ball! I want to play more! I am smart and my mind is very active. I need someone who will run and play with me or give me a job. Did I mention I came from a cattle ranch family? They tell me I'm purebred but the ranchers docked my tail for safety Reasonsbeing around the cattle so the AKC won't recognize me. Their loss folks, their loss! My foster mom is trying to trim me down with regular exercise and something called vegetables. The green beans are disgusting but I am trying to like the carrots and cucumbers. She's also working on my social skills and barking. She has some annoying dog bark sound on her phone when she gets texts messages! And I shouldn't be barking back? She also has a loud clunkyprinter in her office that makes really weird noises. I investigated and found no threats. My foster dad usually walks me and I am very good on a leash. He says I have really good manners and am nice to other dogs. I go right into my crate when I am asked to each night to sleep. I whine a little because I do like to be with my humans but I settle down quickly. I eat nicely and take treats softly, but I may slobber a bit on the water! I'm worth all your love!

Story
Bay is such a sweetheart! She loves the 11-year-old blind Boston Terrier in her foster home and enjoys taking naps with him and the senior cat! She has a gift with other dogs and is great with everyone she meets. She has a solid foundation of training, walks well on a leash, but loves the opportunity to run through the woods! Her recall skills are also good, so not to worry, she won't get lost! Shes friendly with people, but tries to "herd" by barking at young kids (as any typical Aussie would!), so a home with older kids would be best. Bay is totally potty-trained and crate trained although she rarely uses a crate in her foster home because she is so well-mannered. Bay loves her toys, especially the floppy, soft ones that she can shake! Since she likes to herd, she is always making sure the anyone in the room in accounted for and on hikes if someone falls behind, she will be there to make sure they catch up! She has the cutest "smile" that she saves for those she loves the most, where she curls her lips up to show her teeth. She especially loves to have her belly rubbed and will smile a lot for that! Bay can't wait to find her perfect family and start making memories and enjoying life together!
