Story
KENNEL ID #18804Meet Molly, Molly is a beautiful, energetic young girl weighing approximately 40 pounds and is likely an Australian Kelpie mix (best guess). She is around 1 year old and full of potential. Molly was found abandoned at a church, where a kind neighbor stepped in to give her a flea bath and make sure she was fed. When she came into rescue, she was in heat and was spayed right away. She does great with structure and routine. Molly sleeps inside a kennel overnight with no accidents, uses a dog door confidently, and is kenneled next to another dog. While they may bark at each other at times, there is no aggression. Because of her youthful energy and Australian Kelpie breed traits. This breed is known for being absolutely a brilliant, high-energy dogs were bred for herding in the rugged Australian outback - and it shows!* Kelpie Highlights: Super Smart - Quick learners and love a challenge. High Energy - Always ready to go, go, go! Great for an active family. Molly would do best in a home with older children. She walks nicely on leash and actually seems calmer when leashed. She already knows how to sit on command, is very smart, and is highly trainable—she’s going to thrive with continued guidance and enrichment. Molly is ready for a committed home that will help her channel her energy and continue her training so she can be the amazing dog she’s meant to be. ❤️ Molly is hanging out with her foster mom, Carol, in Tennessee. Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation FREE if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Mei is the kind of dog who bounces into your day with pure joy and a big smile that makes everything feel lighter. She is a happy-go-lucky sweetheart with a playful spark, the perfect mix of medium-high energy when the toys come out and soft cuddles when she’s ready to settle in. She is a natural comedian. Mei gives full body hugs, showers you with kisses and chases her toys with so much enthusiasm that she sometimes tosses them for herself. At about 2 years old and 45 pounds, she is a charming mystery mix with perky ears, a chocolate and tan coat and a stocky little frame that only adds to her character. She might have a hint of Doberman, maybe some Australian Kelpie and some Pit Bull Terrier. Mei already knows how to sit for a treat and she learns quickly. She is doing well with housetraining when kept on a routine and she trots happily into her crate for a treat, settling after a little whine. She loves to zoom around the yard and will play fetch for as long as you want. If you love watching a dog light up with pure joy, she is your girl. Mei does have food allergies and needs to stay on a hydrolyzed protein prescription diet. When she arrived she had no fur and was miserable, but with proper care she has blossomed into a shiny, happy pup. She will need to stay on her special diet to keep feeling her best. She gets along well with friendly, submissive dogs, seems neutral with cats and enjoys every person she meets. She rides well in the car and would benefit from a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy her zoomies. After a tough start in life, Mei is more than ready for the fairy tale ending she deserves. If you think you might be her match, reach out to us for more information.    Interested in adopting? Story
Meet Ziggy. This 4-year-old, 57-pound pup is likely a Foxhound/Cattle Dog mix who came to us from another regional shelter after being found as a stray. Ziggy has a classic hound voice—he’ll let out a signature bay when he gets excited—but what really stands out is how much he loves people. He’s incredibly affectionate, a total wiggle-butt, and never misses a chance to give kisses or even a standing hug. He takes treats gently and, while not a big foodie, is still motivated enough to enjoy training time. Ziggy already knows “sit” and “paw,” and he’s 100% housebroken. He rides great in the car and has done really well in a foster home. He’s friendly with strangers and seems to enjoy canine company as well. He would likely do great with kids and can be cat tested if needed. He’s not a fan of the kennel and would much rather be out with his people. He can be a bit strong on leash and has been known to do some counter surfing, but he responds well to correction and will benefit from continued structure and training. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Ziggy could be your perfect match. Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Peaceable Kingdom, PA Kennel License #04131, 1049 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052.   May 12, 2026, 5:06 pm
