Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Let me introduce you to Annie ❤️   Annie is a beautiful Red Heeler with a heart to match. While she’s been raising her puppies, she’s also been showing everyone exactly who she is—and it’s something special.   Her foster mom says if she didn’t already have five dogs of her own, Annie would be staying. That alone tells you everything you need to know.   Annie has all the best traits of a cattle dog—she’s smart, attentive, loyal, and deeply connected to her people. She’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of your world, whether that’s helping you with daily life or simply being by your side.   And underneath that classic Heeler intelligence is a very sweet, gentle soul. She’s loving, steady, and has done an incredible job raising her puppies.   Annie is ready for a home of her own now—a place where she’s not just the mama, but someone’s heart dog.   If you know and love the spirit of a good cattle dog, Annie may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for.   Apply to adopt Annie and give this wonderful girl the life she deserves. Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. We try to post videos for each pet so you can really get to know them. If you would like to find out more please email or call Diane at... diane@ulpr.org or 870-577-3744.   Please email us at diane@ulpr.org and request an application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2026, 10:59 pm

Story
â¤ï¸ Blue Sassy: The Dog Who Still Has So Much Love Left to Give ❤️ Sometimes a rescue story finds you, and before you know it, you’ve become part of a journey that desperately deserves a happy ending. Blue Sassy is a 9-year-old Blue Heeler who spent her entire life with one man who adored her. He raised her from a puppy, and every night she slept beside him. She wasn’t just his dog—she was his comfort, his companion, and his therapy through life’s challenges. A few months ago, her owner reached out to Critter Cavalry Rescue with a heartbreaking request. His health was failing, and he was being forced to move somewhere his beloved dogs could not follow. Through tears, he asked us to help. When Blue Sassy came into rescue, she finally received the veterinary care she hadn’t had in years. During her spay and wellness exam, we discovered she was diabetic. The untreated diabetes had also affected her eyesight, leaving her with limited vision. But here’s the remarkable thing about Blue Sassy… She doesn’t feel sorry for herself. She wakes up every day happy. She greets people with a smile. She loves to explore the yard with her nose leading the way. She loves ear scratches, belly rubs, curling up on the couch, and most of all, sitting in your lap soaking up affection. She still has all the intelligence, confidence, and personality that make Blue Heelers such incredible companions. Her foster family absolutely adores her. Blue Sassy would do best in a home with minimal stairs and easy access to the outdoors for potty breaks. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, loves children, and enjoys being around people. While her vision isn’t perfect, she navigates her world surprisingly well and adapts with the resilience dogs are famous for. Her diabetes is manageable with twice-daily insulin injections, given about 12 hours apart. The insulin itself is affordable, and the injections are quick and easy. Other than her diabetes, her bloodwork and health checks have been excellent. What Blue Sassy needs now isn’t pity. She needs someone who sees beyond a diagnosis and recognizes the loving, loyal, funny, affectionate dog standing right in front of them. At 9 years old, she still has plenty of life to live, plenty of cuddles to give, and plenty of memories left to make. Age is only a number, and Blue Sassy’s heart is as young as ever. Could you be the person who gives this sweet girl the next chapter she deserves? If you’d like to learn more about Blue Sassy, please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com. She has already been someone’s whole world once. We’d love to find her another family to love just as deeply       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 14, 2026, 7:51 pm

Story
Meet Bentley! This handsome 3-year-old Australian Shepherd mix weighs 61 pounds and is a big, strong, goofy guy with a whole lot of energy and an equally big personality. Bentley is friendly and fun, although he can be a little anxious when faced with new situations, so he’ll need some time and patience to adjust to his new surroundings. Once he’s comfortable, his silly, playful personality really comes out. He’s also a smart boy who will thrive with consistent training and plenty of opportunities to use both his brain and his body. Bentley has tons of energy and needs an active home that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and structure to help him channel all that enthusiasm in positive ways. He could also use some continued leash training, particularly because he has a habit of grabbing at the leash when he gets excited. Bentley does well with other dogs, but he cannot live with cats, and we think he’d do best with bigger kids who can handle his energy and understand that he’s still working on his manners. If you’re looking for a smart, goofy, active dog who will keep you moving and keep you laughing, Bentley could be your guy! Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info.
