They were found dropped at the old pecan tree at Natchez Trace, West TN. Great dogs. Doing well on leash, crating. Been fine with the other dogs in their foster home and adults and kids they have met. Very loving, sweet dogs. They are a very nice medium size. They are fine with the 2 cats in their foster home. Fully vetted including neuter & spay, vaccinations, and on preventatives. Currently located in West Port, (West TN). Transport out of state can be arranged with additional cost of $185. She is around 1 year old and full of potential. Molly was found abandoned at a church, where a kind neighbor stepped in to give her a flea bath and make sure she was fed. When she came into rescue, she was in heat and was spayed right away. She does great with structure and routine. Molly sleeps inside a kennel overnight with no accidents, uses a dog door confidently, and is kenneled next to another dog. While they may bark at each other at times, there is no aggression. Because of her youthful energy and Australian Kelpie breed traits. This breed is known for being absolutely a brilliant, high-energy dogs were bred for herding in the rugged Australian outback - and it shows!* Kelpie Highlights: Super Smart - Quick learners and love a challenge. High Energy - Always ready to go, go, go! Great for an active family. Molly would do best in a home with older children. She walks nicely on leash and actually seems calmer when leashed. ***** URGENT - FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED! LOSING FOSTER HOME 6/5! ***** Qawha (pronounced ka-wa), is a 3 y/o, apx. 45-50 lb. Kelpie-Lab mix who was saved from euthanasia at the Memphis TN shelter. Her unique name means “coffee” in Arabic and was inspired by her strikingly rich, deep coffee-colored coat. This poor girl has been bounced around a lot and now she finds herself in an urgent situation yet again as her foster mom will be traveling beginning 6/5 and she has nowhere to go! :,-( Beautiful Qawha is active and energetic, very intelligent, affectionate, and loyal - all the combined traits of a Kelpie and a Lab. She loves being outside and exploring the yard, especially with another pup or her people to keep her company. Qawha will be best set up to thrive in an active home with at least one other dog as a fursibling. We are not sure about cats though as she does display some hunting instincts when out on walks. This unique little guy is bursting with personality! He looks like a Shepherd and talks like a husky but he’s actually a Kelpie-Chihuahua mix! He has all the characteristics of a kelpie in a compact, 22 lb. size. Originally saved from an overcrowded kill shelter in NC, he is now thriving in his foster home where he has shown to be amazing around dogs of all sizes and in large playgroups. And, he doesn’t seem to mind the kitties, either. He is crate-trained and surprisingly relatively quiet. He is not destructive and, given the high intelligence of the breed, he can entertain himself for hours with toys and mental enrichment food puzzles.
