***BONDED PAIR...MUST ADOPT TOGETHER*** PECAN is Aust. Kelpie and Walnut is Lab. PECAN is male, brown, 6 years old, 33 lbs. WALNUT is female, black, 4 years old, 33 lbs. They were found dropped at the old pecan tree at Natchez Trace, West TN. Great dogs. Doing well on leash, crating. Been fine with the other dogs in their foster home and adults and kids they have met. Very loving, sweet dogs. They are a very nice medium size. They are fine with the 2 cats in their foster home. Fully vetted including neuter & spay, vaccinations, and on preventatives. Currently located in West Port, (West TN). Transport out of state can be arranged with additional cost of $185. This little 30 lb, 1-year-old girl is named Penny, and she is one very lucky penny indeed to have been rescued! Her foster family refers to her as "Sweet P." As she has been warming up in a new foster home, her personality is really starting to shine through despite what she has gone through in the past. Penny was rescued from a situation in a rural area overcrowded with dogs where there isn't enough food for them to eat. She had lived with dozens of cats before. Penny has closed that account of her life and is ready to invest in a new loving home. Penny is house trained, crate trained, is super well-behaved, and an obedient pup. She does walk great on the leash, but it may take a bit of coaxing to actually get the leash on her. Penny is a shy girl, but she is very sweet. She is timid around men, new people, and loud noises but has not shown any aggression. Due to this, Penny should be in a home with no children or older, considerate, gentle children only. She has started playing with toys, tosses a ball around if there is no one to throw it for her, and likes to chase sticks. It's the simple things after all. She gets the zoomies, loves pets to her ears, tummy, and butt scratches, and enjoys a long walk. She would be very happy to have a canine friend. One thing about Penny is she does not seem to be a big fan of stairs, though, her foster family is working on this with her. Penny is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. This unique little guy is bursting with personality! He looks like a Shepherd and talks like a husky but he’s actually a Kelpie-Chihuahua mix! He has all the characteristics of a kelpie in a compact, 22 lb. size. Originally saved from an overcrowded kill shelter in NC, he is now thriving in his foster home where he has shown to be amazing around dogs of all sizes and in large playgroups. And, he doesn’t seem to mind the kitties, either. He is crate-trained and surprisingly relatively quiet. He is not destructive and, given the high intelligence of the breed, he can entertain himself for hours with toys and mental enrichment food puzzles. He walks phenomenal on leash and would even do well in an apartment setting. Older kids recommended due to the typical potential nippyness of the herding breed. ***** URGENT - FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED! LOSING FOSTER HOME 6/5! ***** Qawha (pronounced ka-wa), is a 3 y/o, apx. 45-50 lb. Kelpie-Lab mix who was saved from euthanasia at the Memphis TN shelter. Her unique name means “coffee” in Arabic and was inspired by her strikingly rich, deep coffee-colored coat. This poor girl has been bounced around a lot and now she finds herself in an urgent situation yet again as her foster mom will be traveling beginning 6/5 and she has nowhere to go! :,-( Beautiful Qawha is active and energetic, very intelligent, affectionate, and loyal - all the combined traits of a Kelpie and a Lab. She loves being outside and exploring the yard, especially with another pup or her people to keep her company. Qawha will be best set up to thrive in an active home with at least one other dog as a fursibling. We are not sure about cats though as she does display some hunting instincts when out on walks.
