Story
After raising her puppies and helping them all find loving homes, Frida is enjoying her time off mama dog duty. She’s a low energy girl who walks beautifully on leash and is perfectly happy to entertain herself and do her own thing. Her favorite hobby is sniffing around for lost treats. Frida LOVES treats. She takes them gently from your hand, and will start to hover on two legs if you make her wait too long to eat one. She doesn’t know any tricks yet, but with her love of treats she’s sure to be motivated to learn some. Frida is happy to be pet, and she’ll give you a couple of sweet kisses in return, but she’s also super easygoing and doesn’t need constant attention. All she needs is a comfortable home, lots of snacks, and a person to share her days with. She’s done well with other dogs in shelter playgroups, and it seems like she’d enjoy having doggy siblings. Frida is so ready to start her next chapter in life in a loving home. This sweet girl is all about the simple things.

Story
Meet Bluebell! Breed: Australian KelpieGender: FemaleAge: [AGE]Size: 35 lbsGood with: Families, best as an only dog Bluebell is a success story in the making! This Australian Kelpie came to us extremely obese, but she's been absolutely crushing her diet journey and is now trim as ever. She's proof that with the right support and structure, amazing transformations are possible. We're so proud of how far she's come! Fair warning: Bluebell has medical needs and will likely require medication for the rest of her life. This isn't a deal-breaker—it just means she needs a committed owner who can stay on top of her healthcare routine. In return, you get a happy-go-lucky girl who loves play and, let's be honest, clearly LOVES snacks (hence the whole diet situation). She's food-motivated in the best possible way, which makes training a breeze! Bluebell would do best as an only dog where she can be the star of the show without having to share resources or attention. She'd do well in a family setting where she can soak up all the love from multiple people. She's playful and enjoys her fun time, but she's not going to run you ragged—she's more about balanced activity than nonstop energy. If you're looking for a companion with a success story behind her, can commit to her medical care, and don't mind a dog who thinks snack time is the best time, Bluebell is ready to bring joy and affection into your home as your one and only furry family member! Ready to welcome Bluebell into your life? Contact us to meet this wonderful girl! Disclaimer: The information in this profile reflects observations made while this dog has been in our shelter environment. We strive to describe each dog as accurately as possible; however, behavior and needs may change once the dog is in a new home, routine, or environment. Our dogs are not freeroaming in homes. When we note that a dog is "potty trained," this refers to reliable crate training, not confirmed freeroam house training. Accidents may occur during the transition to a new home, and additional training should be expected. All dogs are examined by our veterinarian, are spayed or neutered if old enough, and are up to date on ageappropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption. We share all known medical information, but we cannot guarantee future health or rule out underlying conditions. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.happyfacespetranch.org Once your application has been approved, a representative will be in touch to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog based on the dog's individual needs. ##2464115##

Story
🐶 Meet Polly! Polly is a sweet, affectionate 2½-year-old looking for her forever home! She loves being around her people and will happily follow you from room to room. She also enjoys playing with other dogs and loves walks, playtime, and staying active. About Polly: ✅ Fully vaccinated ✅ Will be spayed before adoption Polly thrives with regular exercise and attention. If left alone for long periods without enough activity, she can become anxious and may chew on furniture or de-stuff plush toys. She is also protective of her food, so she should be fed separately from other pets. She has had occasional potty accidents in one home, but we've found that a consistent potty routine and a long morning walk help her do well throughout the workday. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's ready to be your shadow, Polly is the perfect fit!
