Story
Meet Shaw! Shaw is an energetic, playful, and super sweet boy who is fully potty trained and very well-behaved in the house. He doesn’t need to be crated when you leave, rarely barks, and loves to curl up on the couch with soft blankets. He knows sit, shake, and wait, and sleeps in his crate at night. Shaw LOVES toys, especially balls, and is great at fetch and jumping to catch. He’ll bring toys to you when he wants to play or entertain himself pushing them around. He’s a cuddly guy who loves to rest his head on you… but he’s also a big licker! Giving him a toy helps redirect his excitement so he can enjoy calm snuggles. Shaw can be nervous with new people and needs slow introductions, especially inside the home. He currently lives with kids 10 and 14, but can be anxious around younger or unfamiliar children. Treats, toys, and being ignored at first help him warm up. He’s much more comfortable meeting new people out and about and at our adoption center and meets new dogs easily. Speaking of dogs, Shaw loves them. A playful dog companion would be ideal to help build his confidence and keep him busy. He enjoys walks, has lots of energy, and would do great with an active family. A fenced yard is a bonus, but he also does well on a tie-out. Shaw is goofy, affectionate, athletic, and so much fun. He just needs a patient, understanding home with older kids and a playful dog friend. Once he trusts you, he’ll be your loyal, loving, cuddly buddy.

Astra is an absolute sweetheart with the cutest ears, need we say more? She adores people, toys, and treats, and her playful, curious personality shines through in everything she does. Cold, snowy weather isn’t quite her favorite yet, so she’s quick to take care of business outside and head back in where it’s cozy. Astra is full of fun and ready for adventure, but she also loves her cuddles. She’d thrive with a family who enjoys playtime, laughs, and plenty of affection. With her bright personality, Astra is sure to grow into a smart, loyal companion!

Name: Tootie Age: 2 Year Breed: Medium Mix Gender: Female Weight: 40 Good with kids: Older/Respectful/Calm Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Not yet tested Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Appleton Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Before she was “Mama Tootie,” she was just another scared dog trying to survive—whether that was on the streets or in a home we’ll never know. What we do know is that she found herself giving birth in a high-kill shelter, terrified, and completely out of place for what should’ve been one of the most vulnerable times of her life. And somehow… she still showed up. Tootie gave birth to five healthy boys—Falcon, Sparrow, Finch, Phoenix, and Hawk—and proved to be an incredibly devoted, gentle, and loving mama in the middle of pure chaos. She did her job, and she did it damn well. Now it’s finally her turn. Tootie is very shy and skittish. Fast movements, loud noises, new environments—it’s all overwhelming right now. Life with humans is still a scary concept, and she’s going to need a patient, understanding home that lets her move at her own pace. But here’s the thing—she’s trying. She’s incredibly sweet, enjoys gentle head scratches, and will absolutely accept a good snack as a peace offering. She’s already starting to realize that things like sitting on the patio for a quiet morning coffee… might not be so bad after all. Underneath the fear is a really special dog who just needs someone willing to show her that the world doesn’t have to be so scary anymore. Right now, our focus is simple: keep her safe, help her feel secure, and continue showing her that she’s on the path to a much better life. She’s done raising her babies. Now it’s time someone takes care of her. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.May 31, 2026, 2:51 pm

Story
If you’re a “cat person”… you might just fall in love with this dog. 💛 Waylon is the kind of pup who stops you mid-scroll with his handsome looks—but it’s his quiet courage and unique personality that truly make him unforgettable. This sensitive boy is still learning that the world is safe. Loud noises, busy homes, and unpredictable environments can overwhelm him, so he’s searching for a calm, peaceful home where he can finally relax and just be. Waylon isn’t your typical Velcro dog—and that’s part of his charm. He’s wonderfully cat-like in the best way: independent, observant, and thoughtful. He’ll come to you when he’s ready, ask for affection on his terms, and let you know when he’s had enough. Those moments of connection? They feel extra special because they’re earned. 🐾 He would thrive with a confident canine companion to help show him the ropes and build his confidence. With the right dog and a patient human, Waylon is already making beautiful progress—choosing curiosity over fear, allowing more gentle interactions, and getting braver by the day. Waylon isn’t the life-of-the-party type—but he is the kind of dog who forms a deep, meaningful bond with his person. The kind of connection that makes every small win feel huge. ✨

Story
Sweet Ella is learning to trust 💜 For many dogs, a belly-up pose is just another way to relax—but for Ella, it means so much more. When she came to us at just 5 months old, she had some trust issues. Getting to this point has been a journey filled with patience, love, and small, meaningful victories. Now, every time she rolls onto her back, it’s a beautiful sign of the trust she’s built and the courage she’s found. It’s a reminder of how far she’s come—and how bright her future can be. We’re so grateful to be part of her journey.
