Story
Dapple is a sweet, high-energy girl with the cutest ears and a smile that will absolutely melt your heart. Playful doesn’t even begin to cover it, she’s always ready for fun! Cold weather isn’t her favorite right now, and she’s still working on her potty training, but she’ll get the hang of both with time and consistency. Dapple loves to perch by the door and will happily dash inside the moment it opens. She’s a big fan of food, toys, and especially people. With all that energy, she prefers to stay on the move rather than be held, wiggling her way free so she can get back to exploring. This lively girl will thrive in a home ready to keep up with her joyful spirit!

Story
Hi, I’m Zero! I was surrendered when the toddler in my previous home became a little too much for me, but I shared a great bond with the 6-year-old there and could do well again with calm, respectful children who understand my need for space. The shelter isn’t the easiest place for a shy boy like me, but I’m doing my best to adjust. I’m slow to warm up to strangers, but I’ve already made progress and continue to build confidence. Once I’m comfortable, my personality really starts to show and you’ll see that I do have energy and enjoy being active—especially when it comes to going on walks, which I absolutely love. I also really enjoy quiet, calm pets once I feel safe. I’ve lived successfully with other dogs and cats and had no issues with either. With patience, understanding, and a steady routine, I’ll make a loyal companion for someone willing to let me warm up at my own pace!
