Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Ziva is a 4 year old “Texas Heeler” with lots of energy and high intelligence! She’s house trained and obedient with a strong understanding of basic commands and has a constant desire for connection with her chosen and trusted people. I adopted her at the end of 2022 from a shelter in central Wisconsin when she was around 1 year old. For the first 2 years she was very social with dogs and strangers alike, with a willingness to learn and always down for anything (dog parks, breweries, farmer’s markets, camping…you name it). As she has gotten older, her needs and inconsistent reactivity have increased. She’s not as reliable around other dogs and is more hesitant of strangers. In order to be successful, her new home would require humans with a strong understanding of high energy/high intelligence dogs that have some reactive qualities; a home with a lot of room to roam and owners willing and able to support her needs with the time and space for intentional connection and consistency.

Story
.Kendra has returned to the shelter for her next chapter. She was adopted from HSWC as a puppy and has been well loved, but health issues of her family have made it hard to take care of her. She loves to go for walks and her favorite activity is to play fetch with tennis balls. She does well with children and most other dogs, but has never met a cat. She does have strong storm anxiety and needs medication for that.
