Originally a stray from Tennessee, this smart, loyal guy is looking for a dedicated partner to join him on his next big adventure.He is looking for an active, structured, and low-traffic household where he can truly shine. He would do okay with older children/teenagers that can help keep his environment consistent. His previous fosters raved about his intelligence and how much he thrives when he has a predictable routine. He is a dream running partner and loves to stay moving!Sam is a `deep feeler` who wears his heart on his sleeve. Because he is so attuned to his surroundings, he can sometimes get overstimulated by chaos or fast-moving changes. He does best with `brain games`—like puzzle feeders and scent work—to help him channel his energy into a calm, focused mindset.Sam has decided he wants to be your one and only pet. He prefers a peaceful sanctuary where he doesn`t have to share his space with other dogs or cats. While he may enjoy social play dates outside the house, he needs to be the sole focus of your affection at home.He loves being right by your side and is eager to learn! He thrives with a patient owner who understands the importance of decompression and structure. Owen is a great family dog. He loves to run and be outside. Playing with toys, treats. He would love somewhere he can be himself run and play, maybe even in the country. Owen is up to date on all shots and yearly vet visits. He just turned 6 years old last month so he is still young and runs very fast when he wants to play. Need to find a loving home for him.
