Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Maumelle, AR Meet Tucker! He is an 4 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 70 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Tucker is good with kids! He is also good with smaller dogs, but can be possessive of his food and toys when he is around larger dogs. He hasn’t been tested around cats. Tucker has bitten the owner’s wife several times. This has occurred whenever she tells him to do something he doesn’t want to do, or he is in a heightened state. One of these examples occurred when she tried to take a look at a hot spot on his back. She reached down to touch it, so he growled and bit her. The owner is surrendering him because of these bite incidents. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Tucker, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Tucker. Owner’s Contact Information: Jon-Austen at ljonausten@gmail.com.

Story
Skye: Fixed - Aussie mix - 2 years She is going to need someone who will keep her active. She is a working dog but has never really worked. I was given her as Christmas present from my sister. However, she didn’t know she was just over 4 weeks old. So Skye did not get the behavioral training from her mom. She attaches to her human super super easily and loves love so much. She is always wanting to play fetch. She does well with kids and other dogs but big dogs seam to intimidate her and she gets a little apprehensive (like she wants to play but isn’t sure how to play with them). She needs more training. She is mostly potty trained. But does tinkle when she sleeps. We were told that there really isn’t anything that can be don’t about it. She will need her own waterproof bed. She prefers to sleep alone. But loves to snuggle. We’d love for her to go to a good home that can give her the attention she deserves.

Story
Kiki and Kitsune, named after the animals we resembled when we were saved. Kiki after a coyote name, I mean... look at my ears :) And Kitsune is a fox name, I looked like a little fox when I was saved!! Us girls are sweet and loving and happy with people we know, but you can't blame us for being nervous with new people- we were found abandoned in a field in the deep valley of TX with our dead mother and siblings in a trash bag with us........................ So yes, we are nervous with new people but honestly- new people are only new for a day or two- then you are OUR peeps!! We do not have to be adopted together, but our story is the same so we will share it together... We came to the rescue absolutely petrified but geez, our foster mama was so nice and fed us wonderful food and we were loving on her quickly. So glad to be safe, fed and loved! Now we are preparing for our families and that must be you! We are both gorgeous girls, Kitsune has grown to almost her sister's size, so both are looking to be large full grown pups. Local adoption only so they can meet your families and you can get to know them too! ADOPT...DON'T SHOP!!! SO MANY LIVES DEPEND ON IT!! Local adoption is $250 each (in TX)

These pups are in Greenbrier, Arkansas too!
